Reviews for Thai Ginger in Trenton, NJ
This is a nice place in Robbinsville, NJ. They have a nice lunch package, where you pick your protein, and then pick your rice... or noodle dish. You then can select your level of spicyness. It's rated on a scale of 1 to 4. 4 is the hottest level. The placeis clean and nicely decorated and was not crowded at all for lunchtime. They have nice hot and cold tea options. We were a partyof 8,and everyone was very happy with their food and drinks. Read more
Got the duck fried rice, mixed veggies, chicken drunken noodles, curry puffs, thai iced tea and the sticky rice with mango.... Everything was delicious. They let you dictate spice level 0 to 5. 0 was definitely too tame for us and 2 was a nice warm spiceybut not burn your face spicey. All the food was delicious. The duck was fried nice and had great flavor. The drunken noodleswere so tasty. The thai tea was the best we've ever had, lovely deep tea flavor and so well spiced. The curry puffs wereabsolutely incredible. We can't wait to order here again. Read more
A good Thai restaurant in the area ! Tried this restaurant on Friday night for dinner. Ambiance- A good, simple vibe in the... restaurant.Good amount of inside and outside seating. Service- Service was quick and the server was very polite andattentive. Food - We ordered Thai iced coffee- I liked the iced coffee, right amount of sweetness. Drunken noodles- we orderedat thai hot spice, they were so good. The spice was damn hot which is what we like. A must try dish. Spice basil thai - wethought this was a curry but it came out as a stir fry kinda dish with basil flavors. The dish was good but the chicken wasrubbery. Mochi desert - we loved the mango and coconut mochi, very delicious. The green tea flavour was not that good. If youlike mochi do try the mango and coconut flavors. Would recommend if you really are looking for good thai flavors. Read more
Thai Ginger was absolutely phenomenal. My family almost did not go here due to the lower star rating but we read some of the... comments. Do not be fooled by them. This restaurant was A+++! A true small feel place with great service and delicious food. The ambiance was pleasant. John, the host and server, had the best demeanor ever. He was calm, courteous, and informational. Thefood hit every spot and we tried a variety of items. Three appetizers: Chicken Satay - amazing Curry Puffs - not my personalfavorite but the family enjoyed them. Spring rolls - cannot go wrong with spring rolls! Service was amazing (above). Bathroomwas clean as a whistle. Decor was soothing. Prices were moderate for the area. Food came out quickly. Portions were great. Andwe had no leftovers so that speaks volumes. Take an appetite. Give the place a shot. They had lots of to-go orders going outand they are on Uber Eats. DoorDash. Menu is in pics. Oh. And have the Thai tea!!! Highly recommend. We will be going back! Read more

I had tried takeout from Thai Ginger a few months back, and I ordered the duck drunk noodle lunch special, and it was really... good! Today 3/4/22, I decided to get it again, and it was just as tasty! The lunch special consisted of two spring rolls andsome endaname that came with the drunken noodle. The meal was a good size for me, and it had a good amount of duck, and I haveleftovers, so I'm happy! The service is friendly, and my takeout was packaged nicely! Definitely stop by for takeout or dinein Thai Ginger, I think you'll be happy you did! Read more
A mini-gem with several booths if you want to eat-in that are comfortable. The most polite waitstaff I've encountered in a... while, pleasant and patient. Food is excellent and prepared quickly. My brother and father both tried the Thai iced tea whichwas traditional and excellent and seemed to have a hint of chocolate. I had the mango aloe vera (with honey) drink which wastasty, light and refreshing. I had the spicy ginger beef which had a lot of flavor. Yes, it was spicy with chili and plenty ofginger throughout. Think jalapeno potato chips hot, and then double it. For all that, there were notes of tomato and lemongrass, and the vegetables were crispy. A lovely dish which the aloe vera drink, plus an order of Thai rice helped to tame thespiciness. The menu itself had many if the standard Thai favorites. Red curry, green curry, pad Thai, etc. An interestingoption included multiple duck dishes which I tend to try next time. It's comfortable, quiet and intimate. Food of excellentquality and variety. Can't ask for more. Read more
Awful awful dish. Devil Thai basil. Just syrupy extra SYRUPY super sweet sauce that the veggies are bathing in it. Has no other... flavor. I don?t like to write bad reviews but this was so bad and I spent over 20 bucks on it. It?s inedible despite how manybites I?ve tried to get past. I?m so disappointed to have ruined my dinner. I wish I could drain it out to try to enjoy theveggies and tofu in there. Read more
