Purchased take-out for the first time in a long time and the food was very good. When placing the order, the staff was... attentive, professional and appreciative. Food was ready when promised and hot. Side salads and bread are included with themeals and the chicken parm was enough to feed two. So close to a five-star rating for this place. Started with an absolutely beautiful seasonal peach salad and a stuffed artichoke... done in the traditional style. Had the lobster ravioli next, but the sauce seemed to have way too much lemon in it and it waskind of an aggressive flavor with the ravioli and the crab meat on top was a little too cold for the dish finished with a cremebrulee but only one small portion of it was actually brulee'd on the top. Everything else was very soft, although the flavor wasthere. Was there for a show and the place was packed from wall to wall and it felt like maybe they were a little understaffedfor the event, and the waitress was getting noticeably frustrated. I want to pick up this restaurant and move it into my city. The menu choices were outstanding. I had the crab crusted tilapia... with vegetables. The atmosphere and decor was outstanding. It feels like fine dining at an affordable price point. That is myopinion based on the fact that I travel all over the country. I have seen places with similar decor and menu options with amuch higher price point. The wait staff was knowledgeable and patient. For some reason I was bumbling and mumbling about what Iwanted, but the staff member didn't leave until they were certain they had it right. Diamond in the rough for sure. Read more
