It is hard to find good Indian cuisine. That's why I'm glad I found this spot. Friendly service, decent pricing and quality... food. Not sure what to try. You can't go wrong with the lamb biryani or butter chicken. Read more

Ordered boneless chicken biryani, completely filled with masala. Not sure why they call it biryani. Very bad

Excellent food. Along the most delicious I?ve had in NJ/NYC in the last 25 years, and that includes all over Queens, midtown... Manhattan, 28th & Lex. Contrary to some other reviews here, I personally find Sunny to always be friendly and helpful. Itdoesn?t bother me a bit that I need to know what I?m ordering before we call, or that we can?t dine in, or that he is busytaking phone calls and can?t always chat. The only ?negative? is that you will sometimes need to wait for your food to be ready. We don?t mind. It?s worth the wait. Read more

This place is not bad but?. I just got the tiniest little box of rice I have ever seen. Really guys? This looks like it?s... from a Happy Meal. I?m actually impressed at how small this rice serving is. And rice should be the cheapest part of the meal. You can do a little better, guys. Read more

Well, we tried to have lunch here. We drove an hour, with my in-laws from India, based on the rave reviews, and google said they... had dine in, but there was a paper handwritten sign on the door that said ?take out only?. We could not do that. I saw manytables and chairs and a bus station with metal silverware and pleaded if there was any way we just could sit in there, even withtake-out packaging, and the man adamantly said NO, they had not offered dine in for a long time. He was really rude andunpleasant about it. So we left and ate Mexican next door which was wonderful, had inside dining, and friendly staff. Why sorude? Read more

The best Indian food in the entire US. That simple. Its not about customer service. Forget that stuff. This isn't the upper east... side Manhattan you're dining on. Get real, its Quakerbridge Rd, Hamilton. You need to be pragmatic think for yourself. Localsqueue up here for delivery every single weekend. Why? Read more

We have been eating at Persis Biryani Hamilton for many years now, and the food was consistently very good. The restaurant has... largely extended its menu now with numerous new dishes added in every category, for everyone's like and taste. Tonight'stake-out, however, left us somewhat disappointed. While we live less than 10 minutes' drive from the restaurant, and some disheslike Bhindi Masala and Shrimp Chettitinadu were warm, the Shish Lamb Kebab that is supposed to come sizzling hot from tandoorioven was as cold and bone-dry as it could possibly be. It felt like it was prepared many hours prior to our order and was neverheated. The supposedly butter naan was a piece of stale bread, on a harder side too. The restaurant has to take adequate measureto improve its operation to satisfy its customers, especially in our trying times. PS. I just changed my rating (3 starsoriginally) due to the phone call received from a restaurant a few minutes ago, containing nonsensical if not outright falseclaims. According to the management, the food was ready by 6 PM "in their system" because the delivery is done via GrubHub. Why?The GrubHub order was specified as 6:45 (10 minutes' drive to our house), so WHY was it ready 35 minutes prior? Secondly, twoother dishes came in warm, so it has nothing to do with delivery. For the management's refusal to own up their poor service, asking me in addition to remove my review, the restaurant is getting 1 star. Read more
