No matter what you eat you wont be disappointed. All types of fish platters sides are great and so is there deserts
This is one of the few places left in my opinion that makes good consistent soul food. I?ve been eating here for a little bit... over five years now. My favorite dish is the turkey wings with rice gravy and collard greens! They also have ribs pork chopsanything you could imagine. I?ve been wanting to try this place for a while. It?s really scary for me to eat out where they cook a lot of seafood. I am... severely allergic. So I worry a lot about cross contamination. I was assured that they are very alert about allergies. I ordered3 fried whiting fish 2 fried chicken wings coleslaw and french fries. The fish was perfectly cook and the wings were veryflavorful. I liked the coleslaw a lot. But they failed to me, the french fries. The fries were not crispy they were on the soggyside were not hot either. I can tell they just threw in frozen fries and did not cook it long enough. And you can?t go onto thestore at all. The man will be at the door to give you your food. Call ahead of time. I had a craving for what is locally called "Soul Food" and visited one of my favorite new spots unfortunately they were... closed...#moreonthatlater After running a few locations through my mind I settled on JC Fish Market. I haven't been to thislocation in several years. At one time it was a go to spot. Basically the same decor with upgrades such as a TV/Monitor anddigital graphics featuring actual meals. The menu colors work for this JC location. Family owned and operated. Located ashort distance from the Grounds For Sculpture in a uniquely designed strip center. This strip center has several restaurantsworth checking out, #moreonthatlater The late lunch/dinner/snack meal would feed 3 people multiple times. I choose the friedwhiting dinner with 2 sides, mac and cheese and green beans. And 4 pc fried chicken. 10 mins later my <$20 meal was packed andoff I went. Neither a "homerun or a strikeout" meal.
