Guacamole is amazing & the drinks seem to be the main reason go to this restaurant! The bean tacos are served cold, wasn't... expecting that. Was not a fan of cold tacos. Burger was ok. The buns were toasted but they had a burnt taste to them, hard toget past. Read more
2022 update. Ate here twice in 3 weeks. Chicken panini was awesome, fries were amazing. Drinks $12 each but really good. It was... "darts night", so seating was limited. Sat near a speaker blasting 70's music. Not ideal for catching up with friends. 2020:Ate outside on a windy day. We had 2 heaters for our table and a great server in Dan. Def a great local spot! This is cute and some what intimate. Plenty of beers on tap and drink menu. I got a Light It Up which... was somewhat disappointing because when i finished, 3/4 of the cup was full of ice. I had the crab cake sandwich- let me tellyou, after living in MD for so long and never finding a crab cake sandwich that’s decent, THIS IS TO DIE FOR! Came on a seededbun with fries (not fresh because they were hard like been made and sat under the window) and a pickle! My boyfriend got aquesadilla which was also pretty good- more of a small bite than a meal. We didn’t have a wait, but I was told there isusually live music and there wasn’t so could be a reason why. Fast service, very nice staff (Heather, Kudos). Menu is designed well, you can see thought went into the dishes and how a well... designed menu helps get the food out. I had the Tequila chicken, my partner the bean tacos. They were fresh and well made, wedo prefer spicier food, so if you don’t these will be perfect. The bean taco consistency was a little different than usual,but no complaints. The vegetable sides were excellent, but the star of the sides were the French fries. The steak fries aremore like perfectly seasoned potato wedges. The bottle/can beer selection is vast. My only complaint is that the beer I had ontap the Tonewood EMD was not fresh and tasted rather off. Read more
Family owned and operated. Also owners of a well established pizzeria near by. On each of my visits very busy. Attentive,... knowledgeable staff. Multiple seating choices including hightops/pub tables, tables and bars seats. Plenty of freeparking. Located on a busy road State Route 33. Package goods on site. Large selection of craft beers. I enjoy the "beerflights" on this visit I chose to go more seasonal with Stouts and the Scottish Ale. They also host the Central Jersey BeerFestival. Read more
