Good food, pretty fast service. They work as a team. I’m not sure why you get chips and salsa inside but have to pay for them... on to go orders. Read more

Decent food. More of a texmex spin. Girls working there are hard workers! Guacamole is bagged, not fresh. Burrito was good... but could have used a cheese sauce or something. Overall, not a letdown. Decent food, fantastic staff, busy place. Decent lunchchoice. Read more

Service was great but not real texmex. The Texas styled brisket was roast meat, the salsa was sweet like pizza sauce and we got... the jalapeño cornbread and it was yellow cake with jalapeños and corn. The costs were insane for the portions as well. Read more

My beef taco salad was really good. Presentation was great. Wasn't greasy or oily at the bottom. Going back asap

First experience was decent. The wait and host staff were very attentive and nice. Food quality was good enough, although the... portion sizes for some items were underwhelming for the price. My girlfriend liked her keto tacos (which I will have to trynext time), but they gave her almost no tomatoes. I got the mixed fajitas with shrimp and chicken. The chicken could have useda bit more seasoning and the amount of food was much less than other places I've been to for similar prices. The same could besaid for the queso blanco appetizer which came in a tiny skillet and was barely enough for 2. For $6.25, would have expected abit more. Still, the taste of everything was good. Edit: To the owner, thank you very much for taking the time to reply. Thatis refreshing to know the queso is bottomless. Serving it in smaller bits at a time does make sense. Other Mexican/Tex Mexplaces I've been to just serve it all in one big bowl, and I don't think it is bottomless. We will have to come back and trysome more of the menu. By the way, I love the decor! Great food, prices and service. We ordered our food (two Donkey burritos) One was wet in queso and the other was fried.). One... was the ground beef while the other was the chicken. They both were excellent. They're refried Tex-Mex beans were very good. Itwas a cross between baked beans and refried beans. The jalapeno cornbread is sweet and delicious. Our son had the cheese andbacon quesos. They were very good also. The server initially gave our son a quesadilla with the wrong toppings and meat. Ourson took a bite and knew it was not correct. The waitress then showed up with the correct tortilla stating she was sorry theybrought the wrong one out and immediately corrected the issue without us having to tell them. Overall, if you're in theTrenton, Chiefland or nearby surrounding areas you definitely want to hit this place up. Again, the prices, food and serviceare excellent. Read more

"The locals" enjoy a special appetizer where they order the Tex-Mex Baked Mac & Cheese Dinner "split" so two or more people each... get a bit (see my photo) along with their homemade jalapeño ranch dressing for the salad which is also "split." You might tellyour waitress to add chicken if you've got four in your party. This "split" dinner makes for an incredible appetizer! Read more
