Came in at the very busiest hours for breakfast. Wait time for service and food was longer than ideal but staffs seemed working... super hard to keep up the speed. Our food was pretty good, my waffle looked soggy but actually tasted pretty good. Bacon wascooked perfectly! Only complaint is that the coffee is too diluted, like drinking hot water. A nice location and the building has a different feel than most Waffle Houses. It's super busy at the most at mealtimes and it... seems like they've removed a lot of the seating on the right to make room for people to stand and wait. The food is what youexpect, they don't stray from the consistency in terms of quality and speed. The staff has a quirky way of communicating, theyyelled back and forth to each other and chastised a man for asking for pancakes (the "P-Word"). It was all in good fun andlightened the mood for tourists. If you like Waffle House I'd recommend this one. If you don't then I wouldn't expect this oneto change your opinion. Read more
My first experience at Waffle House was?interesting. I?m not sure what I was expecting, but I was surprised at the limited... amount of seating, and also the fact that it was literally misting from the ceiling of the dining room, and that no one cared? Iwill say they did a good job of getting the food out quickly, and that my chocolate chip waffle was actually quite good, as wellas their hash browns. The staff was ready to throw hands right in front of customers - our waitress screamed at another one tostop stealing her waffles, and they went back and forth pretty loudly. Went after our beach trip, yesterday. Loved the mural outside, and the grill cook was amazing; I got chocolate chip waffles and... hash browns "smothered".. didn't really like the fact that you pretty much seat yourself, and understandably why they don't havea lot of staff but the food was decent and the grill cook made us giggle..gave 4 stars because the young girl who was workingthere didn't greet us when we walked in, and didn't tell us that we were supposed to seat ourselves, and she was on her phoneand wasn't wearing headphones.. (Hence why I mentioned the grill cook, dude was awesome).. bonus points because they're on thebeach.. Read more

Food is great! The ladies behind the counter cooking is entertaining. Seeing it all come together when you?ve never worked in a... kitchen is a sight too see. Definitely sit at the high bar and enjoy the show. It was funny when one of the ladies made themost perfect omelette and she had to brag to her coworker before serving it to one of my party members!
