Hands down, one of the best meals I?ve had out in a long time! Everything was delicious and the service and scenery were great!... We waited about 30 minutes for outside seating on Friday night & it was worth every minute. I?m The menu is fine dining flairwith upscale but friendly vibes from the staff. Prices are more than reasonable. We sampled a few house cocktails and even askedfor something off menu; the bartender didn?t disappoint! I?m a gin fan, so if you like contemporary gin, I recommend you try thePetosky option. The makers apple manhattan was delicious as well. The table next to us ordered the maple bacon Brussels, theysmelled divine, but looked like more food to than we were looking for to start off with. We opted for the baked Raclette cheesewith fruit and toasted na?an. We also ordered the Wagu entree as well as a margarita wood fired pizza. Both were fresh anddelicious. West End Tavern used to be one of the great nicer restaurants in town (was a favorite for date night, bringing out of towners,... holidays), but it seems that the new owners have changed a lot. I got a blood orange Paloma which used to be orange, but is nowpink and I observed strawberry lemonade icee being poured into it. The margarita mix was flavorless, so the margarita tastedlike tequila. The Brussels sprout appetizer used to be my favorite one in town, but today they tasted like straight vinegar waspoured over them with a bunch of mustard (of which neither are in the description). My golden beet salad tasted like there wasno dressing on it, so I asked for a side of dressing and what they brought out was tasteless and seemed as if it had been cutwith water. Very disappointing for a $70 meal as we loved this place, but I think tonight was our last visit. Read more
I had a wonderful salad with brie that had been deep fried in the chunks they kind of look like croutons absolutely wonderful... idea I'm going to steal it. The salmon on the salad was cooked to perfection. The only thing I dislike about this restaurant isthe bathroom was very dark. Aside than that everything was absolutely wonderful. Great view of the lake and marina. Good food, nice ambiance and friendly staff complete the picture. Was a good stop on a... road trip, if I had longer to linger, I would have loved to stay for beer or a cocktail. Will stop again if I am in the area! Read more
We got here in the early afternoon (4pm ish) and were seated and got our food quickly! The chicken sandwich was a classic good... sandwich, only missing a sauce, the fries were super crispy and tasty and had a similar flavor to the Arby?s curly fries. Thestaff were so nice. My husband and I eat here ALL the time!!! They always have great food. We?ve had almost everything on the menu. Atmosphere is... great as it sits overlooking the harbor of West Bay. Waitstaff is always top notch too. Hubby got the ribs this time and went onand on how perfectly they were cooked and I tried the halibut which was quite delicious. So our food was great. And the Atmosphere was awesome. Prices reasonable for the view. Why the 4 and not a 5. Because we had to... ask for refills on our drinks. It looked like the servers were being evaluated by a women supervisor which made the having toask for refills even more puzzling. Read more
