We went here on a Friday night and the place was dead- we quickly discovered why. We paid $90 for two drinks, a very small app,... and two dinners. I would say 80% of the food we ate was store-bought/from a can. Very low quality. The only reason I gave twostars instead one was because of our waitress- she did a great job and was very friendly. Definitely do not recommend cominghere! I?m shocked they?re still in business.. Read more

Staff was friendly and attentive. I had brisket and the bacon cheddar sausage with Cole slaw, Mac n cheese and cornbread. The... Cole slaw and Mac n cheese were both good. The brisket was more equatable to roast beef and the sausage tasted like it wasrewarmed from a couple days ago. The cornbread was very sweet and more like a shortbread than a true cornbread. I won't plan tovisit again in the future. Read more

So good! We love Sparks BBQ! They catered our wedding last year and did a fantastic job, the food was delicious and well... prepared plus everyone loved it and continues to talk about it. We just returned to have lunch on our anniversary and just as weexpected it was still amazing. Great restaurant atmosphere and all around great place. Highly recommended! Picture is of thebaked potato salad, Mac n cheese, brisket and pulled pork. Smoked queso is also the bomb Read more

Awesome dinner, I had the nachos with brisket and it was on point. I wish it had a little more brisket on it for the price you... pay, but it was still delicious. Read more

This place is legendary. We love going here every summer we go on vacation. The atmosphere is awesome and the food is second to... non. LOTS of unique items to choose from all with AMAZING flavors. I really can't say enough about this gem of a restaurant. Read more

Pretty good BBQ, but leaves a LOT to be desired with the price. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich and the description says... it comes with tortilla chips, pickles, and onion. It did NOT say it was a garnish. I asked if I could swap the tortilla chipsfor Mac and cheese, bartender says no Bc the tortilla chips are just a garnish and I?d have to purchase a side of Mac andcheese, for $4.95. The sandwich was $13, I would think for $13 you?d get more than just a sandwich and 5 chips. A rack of ribswas $40 and the dinner plates, which come with 2 sides, are $25-$30. The meat had a good flavor to it and the sauce was reallygood, but I can get award-winning BBQ back home for 30-40% less and this is nowhere near as good. Service was also quite slowfor food that?s already made and you just slice and scoop onto plates. If you?re craving BBQ, there aren?t many choices inTraverse City, but for food, I?d go elsewhere in the area. Read more

Food absolutely delicious. The barbecue sauce is out of this world good. The BBQ sundae was an interesting and yummy twist. And... the brisket sandwich was so tender. We were seated within 10 minutes, had food within 10 minutes of order. Quick servicedelicious meal. Read more

Oh my gosh! It was probably the best BBQ I have had in a very long time. I got the Ultimate Nachos with brisket and it's to DIE... for. Raspberry swirl cheesecake is a must have. Definitely would come again. Smaller menu, but the quality makes up for it. Read more
