Worth every penny and then some! Came here to celebrate my mom‘s birthday while on vacation in Michigan and it ticked every... box. Beautiful scenery, wonderful service, wonderful food, great ambience, and great location. The drive from Traverse City wasabout 20 minutes and very nice as we passed by the vineyards and cherry trees. At the restaurant the host was very kind and thewaiter was patient and knowledgeable as we inquired about the menu. They even gave a small card and box of chocolates when Imentioned it was my mom‘s birthday. We ordered oysters Rockefeller, oysters Dupont, the morel mushroom soup, scallops, andcauliflower steak. Everything was absolutely delicious and we highly recommend the Dupont oysters and scallop entrée. Willdefinitely come back when we return to Traverse City in the future! Read more
We came on Wed for the burger and glass of wine special. The burger was amazing. I highly recommend you add bacon. I got mine... cooked medium rare so if you like yours less pink go with medium. The crab cake was ok. I don't think it is necessary for theburger but we wanted to try it. The views are amazing and if you can catch the sunset your won't be disappointed. You can takeyour drink out to enjoy the view. The burger special is inside at the bar only. They also have really great meals for 2 thatlooks very good as well. Read more

We are first time visitors to the area and had reserved a table online a few days before we arrived. We weren't sure if we were... going to keep the reservation, but several locals encouraged us to. We are so glad that we did. It was well worth the money. Wegot the Ribeye and the Rack of Elk and both dishes were phenomenal. We also ordered dessert and that was great too. Brian wasour server and he answered all our questions and did a great job. When we come back to visit Traverse City, we will surely checkit out again. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Boathouse on the deck a couple of weeks ago and everything was phenomenal. The deck was... decorated beautifully and with the sunset over the lake and snowy weather, we couldn’t have asked for more. From theoutstanding service by Will and Tim to the amazing food, there was nothing but praise from everyone who attended. We were toldby many people that it was the best food and best rehearsal dinner that they had ever attended. Every filet was perfectly cookedand we had many “best evers” on the salmon.
