we like to stop there once a month when we are in Traverse. Last month we noticed a significant difference in the physical... appearance inside and also in the attitudes of the employees. Everything was great! Then I asked if the place finally sold andwas told YES, there is a new owner. So Nicely Done new owner! Wanted to try this place and placed an online order for pick up. The people working at this location are really unfriendly and... unprofessional. Also maybe not too smart? I placed an online order and they seemed to not even know how that process worked.When it became clear that it was messed up they took no responsibility and essentially said it's a corporate website and if thewebsite messed up there's nothing they can do and if I end up getting charged $40 twice, it's not their problem, it's mine. Afew days later my husband decided to give them a shot and placed an in-person order. He experienced the same unfriendly andunprofessional employees. Except for a young girl about 10 yrs old who was helping out behind the bagel counter - she was theonly person who had any customer service skills. She was polite, efficient and even told him to have a nice day. Everyone elsewas noticeably surly and rude. Maybe the ten year old can give the others some training? My girlfriend and I come in pretty often for breakfast. The bagels are absolutely the best in town. They have a ton of different... flavors to choose from. I would definitely recommend the smoothies as well. I?m not much of a coffee drinker so the smoothiesare a must! My girlfriend loves the coffee though. Was craving bagels and decided to go here vs Bubbie's because they offered dine in. I got a breakfast sandwich and the French... toast one. For the breakfast one, the bagel was pretty great and wanted to eat that by itself. The French toast one was toosweet for me since I did the cinnamon sugar bagel. I had to order savory cream cheese to balance out the flavor. Prices weredecent for both. I recommend this place if you want bagels or bagel sandwiches. It's pretty nice. Friendly staff. Clean place. Kind of pricey for a bagel sandwich. I ordered the turkey and havarti. Sandwich was OK, but not all... that. It was really bland, even though it has lots of things in it.
