This is another "sushi" resturant that stands on rolls with lots of sauces. They do not season their rice with anything. The... nigiri has no wasabi underneath the fish to flavor and bind it to the rice. So here at Mikasa nigiri is a raw piece of fish ontop of unseasoned rice. The lady informed me that people complained about the added wasabi and that they do season the rice. If you want nigiri made correctly you have to request it. The rice was 100% not seasoned. If you come here stick to the rolls,they can hide their incompetence behind layers of sauces. Read more

Delicious sushi and had an amazing waiter who double checked that we got all we needed and that the order is correct.
Heard that if you want Japanese food while in Tracy this is the place to go?is this the only place to go? Anyway, it?s Japanese... not exceptional but still it?s Japanese. I opted for the Saba bento with tuna sashimi sides of inari sushi seaweed salad withoctopus. The salmon was okay, seemed to broiled then covered with teriyaki sauce. Good food quality, nothing really stood out though. All the sushi rolls were hot/warm, had to put them in the fridge when I got... home. Salt & Pepper Calamari was good, grilled squid was okay but definitely preferred fried calamari as an appetizer. Aftercooling, we ate the sushi rolls and flavor did improve but nothing really stood out as I mentioned before. Decided to try it outas the typical sushi joint I go to started closing on Mondays and Tuesdays, needless to say, I will wait till Wednesday nexttime. Friendly staff though. Read more
This place has very good food and the flavor is great and price is good... Not to mention a full bar.
