Spent a decent amount of money on food from here and was very disappointed. I give up trying to find decent Japanese food in the... area. The takoyaki barely had any octopus in it, to the point where I had to open one up to double check that it was put intothe batter. The nikuman (stuffed bun) was mostly dough with extremely small pieces of pork. I got a bowl with eel and egg and tomy surprise I got only a few strips of eel and two measly slices of egg. Read more
I was not a fan at all. The stench through the entire cafe wasn’t a deal breaker for me because I got my bowl to go, but it... was not the kind of smell you expect at a place that serves food. Like it would be totally unbearable for me to sit there. $19is “not bad, not terrible” for a poke bowl at all but everything was just so out of place as if I went to a buffet andscooped everything I saw? I definitely prefer blowfish poke & poki DC a lot better, plus they all are in similar prime locationsyet are somehow even cheaper. I think they also completely forgot to put the sauces and added one small soy sauce packet thatwould be enough to cover two tofu cubes. Honestly these poke bowls are well worth the money, albeit a bit pricey overall. Always tastes so fresh and everything has such... a distinct flavor, would definitely recommend. The 3 scoop bowl is decent value - have yet to try the boba here. Read more
