This is something out of a fairy tale. The food beyond words. It is very hard to get a reservation.

Exceptional all around aside from food (just decent). Two tips to start off with, first the tasting menu isn't a great idea,... it's a lot of food. Second, the wine pairing a certainly are worth it. The somm team here is quite skilled and I was surprisedby how on point they were with each dish. The service aside from pouring wine is also excellent and we felt quite taken care.Now the food, it's good, really good, but not exceptional. I'm also used to fine and experimental dining in Austin, and judgingthe mean at The Barn to what's available on a weekend in Austin, and the Barn gets a "yeah, it's good." Now since it isn'tlocated in Austin, it certainly is probably the best mean you can get within 15 miles of it in TN, so I kept it's rating at 5stars because it isn't competing in a wealthy metro (but there is certainly room for improvement).
