This visit had to be one of the busiest days of the year. I was warned it would take at least 4 - 5 hours to drive the loop... after leaving the store, However, on this trip we saw a Bear, a couple of turkeys and a Doe and fawn. The leaves had began tofall and all of the colors of fall were present. There were ample opportunities to take that perfect photo of Nature at it'sbest. Ok, it took almost 5 hours to travel the loop, but, if time would have allowed we could have drove the loop again. Read more

The store has everything I think you would need for a multi-day trip to Cades Cove. They also have a little cafe inside, which... is pricey but also expected at a campground. I guess. The only thing they don't offer is breakfast foods, which would be nicefor starting around the Cove at sunrise. Souvenirs and such are priced as you would expect. Read more

We didn't try the food but they carry anything you might need for your camping trip to the greatest NP in the world. Prices are... fair and they also carry a wide variety of suveneers. Shot glasses coffee cups T shirts ect. Read more

Biked here twice now. Great experience. Staff was helpful. Best to go off-season so the place isn't too crowded for parking or... running out of bikes. Can be a bit strenuous if you're not accustomed to regular biking. But if you can't handle the 11 mileloop, there are shortcuts if needed Read more

Even in torrential rains it's still a wonderful place to camp! Remember to be prepared with several tarps to keep some dry cover... over your picnic table and tent. Buy wood for a fire at the IGA in Townsend for $6 a bundle because it cost $9 at the campstore! Reservations are required for almost all of the sites. The camp store does have some food items for lunch and dinner butvery limited. Store hours are 9am to 5pm. A hot dog is $4.... The store sells a large variety of souvenirs and t-shirts etc. Read more

Nice little store for souvenirs , foods , snacks and drinks. Their veggie burger there was the best we ever had.It was so good... that we bought it twice, once before starting the Cades cove loop and one after completing it. The store has a nice collectionof gift items and souvenirs magnets, badges etc. Read more

Beautiful place to stay! Love all the nature trails for biking or walking whatever you prefer to do. Cades Cove wildlife... preserve is something everyone should take the time to drive around. You will see all kinds of God's creatures ! Read more
