The atmosphere and old time feeling of a drive in was fun and family friendly. The food was alright, basically a decent... cheeseburger for an inflated price. We will probably visit again just to see if they were having an off day due to the amount ofpeople and how busy they were. I will say the fries were very tasty and seasoned well. I say give it a try and see how you enjoyit. We did not have dessert while we were there, but the ice cream cones looked very good. Read more
Cute place with walk up ordering. Plenty of outside seating with sun shade. Self serve fountain drink. Burger meat was dense.... I?m not sure if that?s good or bad, but it was a decent burger. My son and I love coming to this place. The staff is so thoughtful, professional and friendly. We LOVE the food and the outdoor... setup. We can always add as much ketchup to our fries as we need. We were looking forward to trying this place due to seeing the lines and hearing how great everything was. However, we were not... impressed. I had a dbl cheese burger and fries and my wife had a regular cheeseburger and fries. It was obvious the burgerpatties were frozen and cooked prior to serving, but these were over cooked and dry. Staff was friendly enough, but we were toldwe would have to add our own condiments onto our burger after ordering, which makes me question quality right up front. Cheesewas apparently American cheddar, which was tasteless on the dble I had....meat was extremely bland, way overcooked, zeroseasoning, and making us add our own condiments (ketchup,mustard,mayo) to this patty made me regret ordering here even more. Iwill say the fries were good, even though they were nothing more than seasoned cuts from any frozen section of the localsupermarket. So my thoughts for a dbl cheeseburger and fries with large sprite, my wife's regular cheeseburger, chocolate shakeand fries...for 31.00.....no. I can get a fresher, tastier burger, at any Burger King with fries and shakes for 18.00. Thisplace is way over rated and while it may be the only burger joint in Townsend...save your money, find a local Burger King....youwon't regret it. Read more
We stopped for lunch at the Burger master. This place was very small but the service was extremely quick. We ate at the outside... tables. I can't believe how they are going to handle all the people from the festival. I had the double cheeseburger and friesand it was delicious. We are going to stop here after we do our shopping for ice cream. Read more
This place is a MASTER of hamburgers for certain. Fabulous! Fries and the orange shake were also great! Everything made to... order and ready quickly. Very friendly staff, clean tables, clean exterior, and very clean lavatory. We'll absolutely stopagain next time we're in the area. Read more
Pretty crowded and famous spot for lunch. The burgers were good and they have an open ambiance for seating. Ice creams were yumm... and loaded with sweetness. This is the only spot for lunch after you exit from cades cove visit. There are a few others nearby,but this spot is the first. Read more
