Stumbled upon this place by accident and it?s now my favorite spot. Immaculately clean. Very friendly staff! Nice vegan... selection and very fresh food. The Jamaican stouts were so yummy, I had two. Can?t wait to go back! Read more

My wife and I enjoyed the best Jamaican food that we have ever eaten at Jamaica Jamaica Island. I had the jerk chicken which was... far better than I have ever had. My wife had a delicious vegan stew. I also enjoyed a ginger infused passion fruit drink thatthey make. To top it all off I had a slice of dark rum cake. And yes it's amazing! The place is small but clean andcomfortable. We dined in while there was a steady stream of people getting food to go. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wewill be back. It's not too far from the Costco we shop at. Read more

We Order take out from Jamaica Jamaica today. It was very good. I had a beef patty, jerk fish, rice and beans with fried sweet... plantains and a side of cabbage. What I loved about the fish is they gave you the whole fish, head and all!!! I best enjoy myfish when it's prepared in that fashion. The only down fall is my husband waited almost an hour for the food to be preparedafter he called it in. The customer service was excellent, but the timeliness was a little off. Time plays a big part whenconsidering where to go for dinner especially if you have to go to work. So all in all I score this restaurant a 4 5/5 on theGEMS of Tampa score card. We chose this restaurant thinking it would be a quicker dinner option for the night but this time itwasn't. It's also Friday night so we will try back on a different night to see if our experience is different or the same. Alsothe food ???? ???? ???? ????.... Very tasty, dinner was well enjoyed. Read more

Saw this place and stopped. I tried the jerk chicken, rice and peas with cabbage and plantain. Food was ok. Real test will come... with either ox tail or goat curry. Meat patty is next as well. Read more

Ordered brown stew chicken with rice & peas, cabbage, plantains and a side of roti for pick up. I may not be the best judge as... I'm not Jamaican nor have I had much experience with Jamaican cuisine BUT I am Dominican and know well-seasoned food when Itaste it. I wanted something new and packed with flavor, this meal had all the flavors I was looking for. I've never had rotibefore and the nice gentleman at the cashier added a side of curry sauce at no cost and instructed me to dip the roti in thesauce - that roti & sauce was my favorite part of the meal! So good! I'll definitely be adding that every time I order. Also, had their soursop juice (guanábana). Very good. And to top it off it's a Black-owned business/small business which I alwayslove to support. Read more
