The steaks were cooked to an almost perfection. Very delicious!! The drinks were well made as well..we will be back..
My martini was perfect. Our salads (chopped and wedge) were perfectly put together and Husband's slab bacon was the highlight of... the evening. No, scratch that, our waitress, Juice made our night (give that woman a raise!). If you're reading this, SunsetSteakhouse, please please pretty please change the music! When your clientele is sipping martinis and nibbling stuffedmushrooms, there needs to be a little jazz in the background. Honestly, every time a new song came on (some sort of weirdsweating to the oldies classic rock hodgepodge) it added another eye roll and shoulder shrug to the evening. Nice environment and close proximity to the casino floor. My dinner was delicious and the menu had a good selection.
Within the last 24-36 months the quality of food decreased a lot. The steaks have hardly something to do with premium steaks... (meat is low quality, vegetables are not fresh (cans), ...). I was a few times there, but in the near future I will not comeback. Read more
Good afternoon Abigail: Our posted hours are 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, so our manager extended you a favor by... allowing a 9 p.m. reservation. Sorry for your experience, but when you had not arrived at 9 p.m., we made a decision to closethe restaurant as we did not receive a call that you were running late. Nonetheless, I understand your husband and Lucian havespoken and we look forward to your upcoming visit. Have a nice evening! That is what you reply to my review? We were extendedNO favor as your reservation software allows for a 9pm reservation. Lucian reviewed the footage of our arrival and said therewas NO reason for what transpired to have happened. As we were not greeted on arrival and were made to wait at the doorregardless of our own 5-7 minute tardy arrival. We were told you hold reservations for 15 minutes by Lucian. Everything wasfully reconciled after my spouse talked to Lucian today, however this reply is a very backhanded attempt at rectifying the poorcustomer service experience. My advice is if you close at 9 don?t allow someone to reserve a table. It?s not a courtesy we askedto have extended to us. I don?t think there will be an upcoming visit honestly. Made a 9 pm reservation and received a phone call to confirm our reservation. When we arrived we were refused service with... absolutely no attempt to change the taste left in our mouth. We came ready to spend a healthy amount of money and enjoy whatlooked like a very upscale and inviting steakhouse. How do you even allow us to make a reservation if you are going to tell us?we?re closed!!!!? AFTER LUKE called us and very kindly told us we WOULD BE served. Pb&j wings are a national treasure. Tad spendy but worth it.
