We came to Torrington to do the Cottonwood Golf Course. Afterwards we were hungry and so we made our way into town. This neat... little Grill House has a variety of food items with a bar right next door! The Cardiac Burger and sweet potatoes fries weregood! Quite good! Enjoyed the Santa Fe Burger, but the green chiles didn't really add much. Great thin Onion Rings. Love the... Artisinal Ranch Dressing. Salad Bar looked sad when went in for pick up. Pie/cake display looked amazing. Great variety ofsides and burgers. Also a good Reuben, or so my dad reports. The decor could also use a few more elements. Great place for lunch. The grilled shrimp and calzone were tasty, the salad bar very fresh. Service was great!
Ok, let's start with the positives. This place has a really cool old cowboy western vibe to it! The place has old metal sheeting... for walls, and wagon wheel lights. All really nice touches. The server was ok, wasn't really enthusiastic with her greetings butwasn't bad either. The prices are fair for what they give you! I ordered the Chili Dog with fries and my friend ordered a halforder of Nachos. The nachos could be a food challenge on its own! So, if you order the full be prepared to have enough to feed6 people. The negative about this place is that it is just average at best. The food was good enough but not great. Theservice was good but not great. The price is good but not great.
