We just tried this place last night. It was recommended by friends and family. There were six of us who met for dinner. Everyone... enjoyed the delicious food. They have a lazy Susan, mid table. Most of us shared our generous and yummy dishes! Our waitress dida good job. We will return again soon. I ordered the eggplant dish. I asked that it would not be too spicy. It wasn?t. Theorange beef was delicious. Walnut shrimp perfect. Egg foo young was a great choice too. The cream cheese wontons were to diefor. Go! Read more

We went on Sunday afternoon and there?s a lot of customers. There?s a waiting line, so just go ahead and write down your name... plus how many people will dine in. Took us more than 10 minutes of waiting, another wait time for the waiter/waitress to attendto get your order and last waiting time for your food to arrive. We ordered kung pao chicken, chop suey vegetables, dry/ friedchow mein, wonton crème cheese and fried fish fillet. We already finished eating our meals and the fish hasn?t arrived yet. Soif you?re very hungry, don?t just order the fish! Otherwise you will end up watching people eat while feeling hungry lol. Thefish fillet came after we?re done eating so we just had to take it out including the rest of our orders. There?s no parking spoton this restaurant so go to the nearby grocery store (numero uno) and park there in case you can?t find parking spot. We alsoordered tea? love it. Overall, it?s 4 stars because there were not enough parking spot available. Read more

We stumbled on this place after shopping. We went with the Google reviews and boy were they right! Everyone was really nice to... start. We ordered the lunch specials with soup and rice included. They came family style and the portions were huge! We orderedthe garlic chicken and Szechwan shrimp and both were delicious. To boot everything was reasonably priced. We?ll be back! Read more

The Golden Pheasant visit suggested by a co worker who lives in the L.A area. He has been to many different places in the... United States as well. We he works his home area, he comes here. I was in the mood for Egg Foo Young. Thinking it would be ascrambled egg sheet with usual vegetables. However, the menu had different variations along with it (Beef, chicken, vegetables, pork, shrimp). All of these different price points associated with them. The vegetable Egg Foo Young being theleast expensive. Anyway, I received the Egg Foo Young. To my surprise and disbelief it came in a soup form. I was expectingit a regular dry form on a plate platter. Well, I see all kinds of vegetables on the top of the soup bowl and had to dig allfor the egg Foo young like a treasure hunt. The size & thickness of the egg was very thick (1/4 inch) by my estimation. Inside the egg was cooked Hash Brown shreds. I appreciated that fact but not so much drowning in soup liquid. It was a goodtaste, but a little more salty for my taste. I added the finely crushed Black Pepper that the restaurant provided. Now I alsohad an Appetizer: Pan Fried Pot Stickers. They were excellent. The other members of our party had other good stuff that inretrospect, wish I had. I give the Golden Pheasant a 4 stars rating. They didn't provide an honor to Military or Veteranswith a discount. The price points were mainly starts above $12 + as a minimum. The amount of food for those prices you canorder a couple of items and feed a party of 4 easily. Read more

My first time trying this restaurant. From the looks outside, I might not have chosen this place but my guy said they have great... Chinese food! I have to remember that saying from when I was young and not to judge a book by its cover! The lady that took ourorder was sweet, while we waited for our food, she brought us complimentary cups of Egg Drop Soup...so yum! The broth was thickand very tasty! We ordered the House Fried Rice, Beef filet in satay sauce and the House chow mei with thicker noodles. Wheneach dish came out, we realized we were going to definitely have left overs to take home...score!!!! Each dish was delicious butthe favorite for me was the beef filet in satay sauce...the beef was so tender and juicy!!! We have found our new Chineserestaurant!!! The dishes range about $12-$15 on average. But honestly the dishes come with enough to feed 4-5 people. Irecommend this place!! ???? Read more

One of the few remaining old school Cantonese family restaurants left in the South Bay. Great food, the flavors of my childhood.... Typical huge portions of real good food. Everything on the menu is solid. Order the salt and pepper pork chops and be preparedto be amazed at the sheer volume of meat. Chinese food is the best value hands down. I hope this place never closes. Read more

A friend of ours recommended this place and it was worth it in every aspect. Plenty of parking, friendly service, a big menu,... authentic flavors, large dining for small or large parties, clean, large portions, and very cost effective. We will be back mostdefinitely. Read more
