Reviews for Yin Ji Chang Fen ???? (Downtown) in Toronto, ON
This is the place for rice rolls and congee. The servers are nice and the food here is great. You order by writing down the # on... a sheet of paper. For its price too, the food is well worth it. I recommendation the rice roll with Char Siu, so so good!! Thedough fritters are also really good. Read more
This is a really good place for rice rolls and congee as the prices are also very reasonable. There are many locations but the... one in downtown is the most convenient as it?s accessible by the TTC. I?ve been here a few times and the quality of the food andservice has always been great. Read more

This restaurand foods is out of this world, tried their... seafood combo congee, pork amd shrimp changfen, fried curler, all to be outrageous delicious. Best we ever had. The server yet still very friendly and helpful. Note: they have best chili oil!! Read more
I ordered the shrimp congee, dough stick rice noodle roll, regular dough sticks, sweet cruller, chicken feet and shrimp rolls... through Uber Eats. All of the food arrived well packaged and the congee came with 2 types of sauce (soy sauce and peanut sauce,I believe). All of the food tasted good but I am taking off 1 star because the prices are pretty high compared to other placesin Toronto. For example, they charged me $3.50 for a regular dough stick but you can find the exact same dough sticks for lessthan $1 at chinatown and pacific mall. I think the best feature of Yin Ji Chang Fen is that they offer many different flavoursof congee. Read more
Rated 5 stars for value for money. Only spent $15 for a Char Siew Chang Fen and a bowl of Pork Kidney Congee - inclusive of HST... and tips. Chang Fen is very good with the thin skin that has a nice, chewy texture. The Congee is somewhat too waterythough. Still, given the value, I will likely return. Read more
I always come to this place if I?m craving Chinese food for brunch/lunch. They?re usually not too busy and if there?s a wait,... it?s not long. They have a variety of dishes on their menu, including a large selection of rice noodle rolls. Recently I triedtheir braised beef roll. Beef was well marinated but the rice roll itself lacked flavour. Aside from that, I usually get congeeand fried dough sticks which are quite good. I also highly recommend their frozen Hong Kong milk tea! Read more
I?ve ordered from online delivery in the past, but this is my first time visiting the store. The space is surprisingly huge and... clean. We ordered a couple items and I personally like their fried dough fritter and preserved egg congee. Add their chilli oil!Dimsum was okay, nothing too special. On a side note, their soybean milk was amazing - exactly what I?ve been looking for as ithas the right amount of sweetness! Read more
