The duck sausage was out of this world! Very fun place to visit friends at. Love how they have a seed oil free option for fries!

We have been going to WVRST ever since we moved to Toronto (7 years ago). They actually just hosted our wedding reception - our... wedding truly would not have been the same without them. Such a party. Beer list never disappoints. Food is outstanding.Service always a happy combo of relaxed and professional. We love you WVRST! Read more

It a nice eatery, with good amount of indoor and outdoor dining. The patio was closed due to rain. I got the vegan dirty fries... which were really nice. But beware if you are not used to eating spicy food, you might want to ask them to cut down on thejalapeños. Read more

Great collection of beers and especially Bavarian beers. Had a chicken sausage with bread and their special sauce. Not very... filling, but definitely very delicious. We also had fries (which goes by the name - dirty duck fries). Read more

This place was a nice change from what you might usually expect at a restaurant with their communal mess hall type dining room... and ordering directly at the counter. There was an emphasis too on take-out options which was cool, like for their craft beer, etc. I had the duck/ foie gras sausage and my friend had kangaroo. The other options for game sausages included elk and wildboar to name a few. The duck sausage was really good. We also had the duck fat fries which was good for a couple bites.Honestly, I would've been happy without all the toppings. There's so many options to choose from with their food and drinks, that I'd definitely come back again just to try something new each time. The atmosphere is a nice casual social setting. Read more

Different kind of concept then some of the other restaurants we?ve been to in Toronto. You get a table, then when ready, order... at the counter. They give you a number then deliver to your table when your food is ready. Some items are more worth it thenothers. My pretzel was kind of small. Adding the cheese sauce and tip, it was around $11-12. My friends however all ordered asausage and it was a pretty decent size! The duck fries they got were phenomenal as well. Definitely take a deeper look into themenu before ordering. In all, I think we would go back to try this place again. Read more
