You can?t beat burger bar for value. I?ve been coming here since 2012 - I love it just as much as I did back then. Good food,... cheap drinks, good service. I love their burgers and fries. The custom burger toppings allow you to make a really great burger.I?ve tried the beef, bison, mushroom and kobe beef. They?re all amazing but my personal favourite is the regular beef burger. Came here for dinner with some friends on a Friday and they had a wait. Decided to put our names down to wait for a table anyway... since my friends said good things about this place. However, while we were waiting, the host and waitress' were not friendlywhen we asked them about the wait time. I get that it is out of their control but they didn't even try to be nice about it, itwas fine since we still waited. However, we waited for more than 15 minutes just to have someone come over to take our ordersand the food took another 30-40 minutes to come out. On top of that no one came to check on the table or to bring us water orthe sauces we asked for, such as ketchup for our fries. The food was decent but the wait times and service really brought downthe experience. We had a hard time trying to call over our waitress for the bill so we decided to go up to pay. Another waitresshelped us out but didn't seem too happy about it. Overall not a really good experience, service wise. Hopefully it was a one-offbut not sure if I would want to come back again. It was my first time here, and I was surprised. The prices here were very reasonable, and the service is excellent. I can't... believe the 60oz PBR pitcher is only for $10, and they have happy hour appetizer options. We ordered Caesar salads, burgers andfried calamari, which were all delicious. The server here was also friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed it. I will comevisit again next time for sure. Read more
Cheap for downtown Toronto with relatively good portions. I like how you can choose a burger base and customize your toppings... and sauces. I got the mushroom burger and it was delicious! Where it fell short, though, were the non-burger items. My friedcalamari didn't taste fresh or crispy. The cocktail I got was very diluted as well. Read more
Delightful spot with a nice moody atmosphere. Food was great- we?ve ordered: - bison burger + sweet potato fries - salmon... burger + fries We?ve also ordered shots - there was a nice selection and were surprisingly very inexpensive; ranged between $2& $3 per shot. Exotic sliders with fast and nice service. The food was all well priced and they have an extensive menu for game meat burgers,... can?t say I tasted much of a difference between the kangaroo and elk but when else am I going to kangaroo and elk sliders foronly $6 each? Read more
Affordable but diluted drinks and mediocre food. Was surprised to see they offer unusual and exotic meats like kangaroo and elk!... I like how you can build your own burger too. I ended up getting the kangaroo burger and it was quite dry and underwhelming. Itdidn't come with any sides. The burger was plated on one side of a long plate with the other side being visibly empty. Theservice was friendly but slow. Not the ideal place to go to have a nice conversation with a friend since the music is superloud. It's a good place for moderately cheap drinks. Can't go wrong with $10 pitchers and $2 shots! Would recommend making areservation since it's a small restaurant and can get quite busy in the evening. Read more
A decent divey student bar near Ryerson University in downtown Toronto. Food taste/quality 3/5. Drinks 4/5. Prices 5/5. Good $10... pint special and the pint/shots prices are very fair. The waitress was great and attentive but they also were not that busy.Overall, I'd definitely come here again for a budget meal and drinks. Read more
