Pretty great when I came here! Fresh, well-seasoned, and pretty well-portioned. I had the butter chicken and beef curries. You... also get the added benefit of having an excuse to mingle with the engineering students, so that?s nice too. Read more

I see several good feedback but I didn't find the case when I went there. 1. It is not authentic Indian, can say Indian based or... fusion. 2. The menu says basmati rice but I didn't get, rather it was some thick rice not comparable to basmati even. 3. We tookthe vegetable rice option with 2 curries and the blend of taste was not matching . Like you are eating fried rice with Indiancurries .. Read more

I got chickpea curry and butter chicken. The butter chicken I had was alright. Generally both curries need more spice, there... isn't too much kick to them. They do give large portions. However, it is a bit pricy. Read more

Refused to use my UofT meal plan bucks because machine was "broken", despite having yourself listed as a place that accepts... dining dollars on UofT's Food and Services Website. Please stop making false advertisement and remove yourself from thelist. So I asked to have a container to share food with my friend and they charged me 75 cents for a container. YOU CHARGE MEBECAUSE YOUR MACHINE IS BROKEN??? It's YOUR machine that's broken!!! Keep in mind, I pay $20K tuition at UofT and $800 somethingfor incidental fees and you charge me for a 75 cents container - unbelievably ridiculous. I understand that your containers arecompostable which does cost more, but please have some kind of compensatory mechanism to make up for the misleading info you aregiving on an official website - that is only quality service, unless you don't consider yourself as such, which I would betotally fine with :) Read more

Not sure how this restaurant has such positive reviews. Ordered from here using "Skip the Dishes" based on the 9/10 star... reviews. I know Indian food very well and my friend who dined with me is East Indian that grew up there, so both of us know ourIndian food. This was SUCH a disappointment. What happened?! The Beef Madras curry tasted like a bad canned beef stew watereddown, the chickpeas were bland, the biryani was soooo plain. Better Indian food downtown: The Host, Butter Chicken Factory, Rashnaa....any place except this one. Read more

This is more Indian-inspired than authentic Indian, but that?s cool since it?s the least greasiest Indian food around. Items... that are gluten free and vegan are marked which is very helpful and this is the only Indian restaurant I?ve seen which doesthat. I had curried mixed veg and lentils, both in size small which was good for one large meal. Lentils were French greeninstead of typical red but the dish was ok. For a gluten-free vegan, there isn?t tons of choice but I?d order again as food wasdecent, the ordering process was easy due to labelling and for the lack of grease in the food! Ps I added the fresh tomato inmy pic of the food. I?d love if they added some themselves along with fresh cilantro and onion. Read more
