We all ordered lemon risotto with scallops. When it came the scallops were raw. I asked to have my scallops cooked and was told... that it is not possible to cook scallops. The manager offered me another meal but since all my friends were already eating Ideclined. The portion size was extremely small so for $27 I had approximately 1 1/2 cup of rice. Following our discussion withthe manager none of the wait staff came near our table. All in all it was an extremely disappointing experience that I will notrepeat. Read more

Service was wonderful from greeting to seating. Menu choices were limited especially if you prefer red sauce on pasta. I chose... the gnocchi which had a light red sauce to it however, the remainder of pasta dishes were butter based. Read more

First time here we had a late Saturday brunch. Surprisingly they offer a summerlicious lunch menu. The food was delicious and... the service was great. The restaurant is hired beside a shop so it is not easy to find it but glad that we did. Will come backto try their dinner for sure. Read more

A beautiful restaurant that needs a lift in every way.\n\nEnvironment: 9/10. Gorgeous restaurant set in the back of the second... floor of Eataly. Chairs are comfortable and ambiance is warm and inviting. Was a little difficult to find… had to askaround.\n\nFood: 5/10. We tried a bunch of items of the dish… and boy, it wasn’t the most exciting food. Small plates forhefty prices. And, being located in the Yorkville area with a number of Toronto’s best Italian restaurants, unfortunately-Trattoria Milano just doesn’t measure up. If I blindfolded my date, she would’ve thought we were at Scadabush… it wassad.\n\nThe menu is hard to understand… even the servers thought so. Reaching a little too hard in my opinion.\n\nService:2/10. Being at one of the most empty restaurants in the city with as much staff as they had, it was the slowest service we’vehad in a long time. Servers were not attentive. We were asked how our first bites were after plates were done. Not to mention, Ihad to flag a server down because I discovered hair in my pasta. They were gracious and quick to have someone address it - butit still took 20 minutes later to have a new pasta in front of me. I ate by myself after… it was weird.\n\nOverall, this placejust doesn’t measure up and was disappointing. The Valet parking is only for 2 hours of validation. So, we ended up having topay for parking because the meal took so long (their service was REALLY slow). Would I ever go back… no. Read more

So excited I got to finally try this place. On the second floor of Eataly and tucked away in the corner it could be easy to... miss. From start to finish it was perfection.\n\nThe wine pairing from their sommelier Antonello was amazing. He was soknowledgeable about wine, region and everything was fantastic.\n\nApps: Steak tartare was presented looking a bit like groundbeef but it was so delicious. The salami misto came with a candied mustard jelly that was so interesting.\n\nMains: the“elephant ear” was a huge bone in veal steak which was done exactly the way I had in Milan. Perfectly salted, crispy on theoutside and tender the middle. A must try! The 40 egg pasta was so delicious and filling. Milanese saffron risotto was alsoperfect.\n\nDessert: the tiramisu served in a small glass container. It was creamy and had the perfect balance of sweetness andespresso.\n\nWill be back again!
