Reviews for The Rabbit Hole in Toronto, ON
The venue, service, and cocktails were excellent. Lots of attention to detail on theme with old English pub meets whimsical... Wonderland. The wallpaper was so fun. I would bring friends back here for cocktails. The Duchess was my favourite. For food, weenjoyed the Welsh rarebit and lentil cottage pie. Read more
Stopped in midweek and enjoyed the patio on a relatively mild October day. It did get cool and the heaters weren’t working, so... we didn’t stay as long as we might have. Pie-tober is a very cute event and loved the option to indulge in very British piespaired with select beers. The pumpkin soup with bacon was a stand-out, as was the veg pie and sticky toffee pudding. Service wasabsolutely fantastic! Would return to try their version of a scotch egg or fish and chips. Read more
Really pretty patio seating, so go here on a nice day to enjoy that. We went for evening drinks and they had some quirky... cocktails and appetizers. We ordered cauliflower skewers and they came with a twist of Indian curry. The scotch eggs lookedpretty, the only thing I didn't like were their fries. But I'll have to visit again for a proper meal. I will give full credit to The Rabbit Hole for capturing the British essence throughout the dining experience. Cool decor with... lots of attention to detail, good selection of signature British dishes, bill delivered in a cute teacup and not to mention thevery on-theme playlist which did not disappoint. Food wise we were mostly happy with the starters. While the soup was full offlavor and very enjoyable the scallops fell short. The texture was slightly on the chewy side, the portion contained only 4scallops which were lost in an odd array of onion and some type of puree. Given the price point of $27 we were a littledisappointed with this course. The Salmon and Lamb Rigatoni mains were presented very well and tasted pleasant but notexceptional. Thankfully we ordered the Scotch egg as a side and this was true to its origin. Tasty, hearty and a wonderful mixof soft and crunchy! Would recommend The Rabbit Hole the overall experience, and would like to try some of the other dishes thenext time for a more rounded experience. Read more

Best meal of the year by far! From the crumpets to the scotch egg and the fish and chips to the dessert. Everything was... fabulous. We ordered pretty much everything on the menu and left very full. Stand outs were the bone marrow, scallops and thesteak and Mushroom pie which they serve the sauce tableside. Service was phenomenal and Chef Laura even came out to say hello.Would reccomend and will definitely come back. Read more
Great atmosphere, food and service. My fave dish was the bone marrow. The portion was quite big for the price. My friend and I... each had a very generous amount. Another must try is the scotch egg with a quail egg inside. If you order the beef carpaccio, itcomes with that dish. Super yummy. The decor, atmosphere and mood was very unique. The staff was super friendly. We ended with alight strawberry dessert! Would recommend! Read more
Went on a Thursday night after work at 5:30pm, and it was PACKED so glad we had reservations. It's a busy, crowded, and loud... place so it's great for some after work happy hour (until 6pm). I thought the food was great, and well-priced. I had the beeftartare, which came with the quill eggs, and the Welsh rarebit. Both were amazing. However, I didn't find the cocktail I orderedthat special, but maybe I just didn't choose a good one (I had the Tokyo Spritz). Service was excellent. The waiter wasknowledgeable and attentive, refilled water many times, and helped us use a coupon. Read more
