Mugshot is a place I go fairly frequently. Their Big Mug burger has this perfect ratio of meat, cheese, and pickle that I can't... get enough of. They also have some solid rotating taps. I learned about People's Pint by trying one of the rotating taps, andI'm really glad about that one Mugshot *does* have other food, but I haven't found anything I like quite as much as thatBurger. Been a while since I've tried their Poutine, but I think that needs a bit of work. Still a 5/5 overall, though. Read more

A unique little place that survived the pandemic, and I'm glad it did. Kitchy atmosphere, great appetizers and amazing selection... of alcohol. Service has been pretty good all things considered. Pretzels and mac/cheese fritters are so awesome here, hell Iorder them just for my own get togethers some times Read more

The perogies with pulled pork are unbelievable and one of my favourite dishes anywhere! Always have great beers on tap, the... staff are the best and the atmosphere is so chill and relaxing. Such a great place to unwind! Read more

Great pub with exactly what you're looking for. Solid food, service, and atmosphere. Nice little rooftop as well.

Surprisingly really good appetizers. I'd have preferred pickle chips to spears for fried pickles but they were really solid.... Managed not to be full of scalding pickle juice. Good beer selection. The lavender peach cider wasn't very good but that's nottheir fault. Makes for a good conversation piece however. Read more

I can't say enough good things about this place, actually. The staff, the owner, the food, the service... ALL of it is... absolutely awesome every single time, and every time I bring guests there they feel the same way. My usuals are the chickensandwich, or the chicken fingers, the burger, or the fish and chips, and I've never been disappointed. Pickle spears are a greatstarter too. They have a wonderful rooftop patio as well as a great smaller front patio that will seat one group table ofpeople I'm really happy that this place survived the pandemic because it's totally a West end gem that I love going to. Busy for a Friday! We only had to wait ~10mins for a table but were happy to do so with a beer in hand. Excellent food and we... had leftovers to bring home too. Will definitely be back. Update - have been back multiple times since the original review andhave never had a bad meal! Definitely a neighbourhood favourite. Read more
