Found the portion sizes to be a bit small. This seafood was also small cuts. The taste however was good and so was the service.... Prices are a but on the expensive side. Still would recommend for a lunch or dinner Read more

I have never had to write a bad review, so this is a first for me. 2 days ago, on august 3rd, I came into the restaurant to get... some take out and had a problem with the server. Due to her inability to communicate properly and understand me and my gestures,my personal property was damaged. I was served my food that I was taking ?to-go? in two cartons, of which I would later learntragically. They were packed in a non see through big paper bag that was stapled (either way, sealed). I had a backpack, inwhich the food could not have been placed the same way it was put onto the table in front of me, so I asked the server if itsokay to turn it sidesways - it was the only way to fit it. The server didn?t seem to really understand what i was asking, so iput my hands to work and gestured as well - my idea was to turn the food i was served sideways, to fit it in my backpack, as itwas the only way. Upon gesturing and repeating the question 2-3 times, I was told it was fine and that I could flip them howeveri pleased. Satisfied with the answer, I proceeded to do just that. Upon arrival home, I realized something was very wrong. Thesauce content of the box has seeped through the cracks of the boxes that were never meant to be carried any other way thanupright and into the inside of my backpack and on everything it would come in contact with. It was a mess, my lunch was ediblebut everything was slimy and oily, it was an absolute mess to consume, however, as the containers for my food needed their owncontainers or plated to sit on not to make more mess. My backpack was completely ruined, i have since tried to wash and rinse itto my best ability but unfortunately the strains didn?t go away nor did the smell. I have pictures and receipt, which also wascovered in the same sauce, by the way. Never had bad experiences from captains boil in general, but this was one messyexperience, and it could have all been avoided if the person knew what I consider pretty basic communica Read more

This is my second time visiting the captain's boil and I always enjoy their menu. It does have a variety of seafood offerings... and their Sauces are to die for. I prefer my seafood with Sauces on the side and they accommodate the request. The service wason Pointe, going back once I go back to Toronto. Read more

First time coming to this location. It?s a little smaller than the location in Etobicoke. The food was good but I feel like the... crab did not have much sauce at all, which does make a difference. We ordered the snow crabs, the mussels, the seafood friedrice with Captain?s Boil sauce and the chicken wings. Wish I would have seen the deal for $99 because we spent just over $100not including tip and the deal offered twice as much food, that was frustrating because I asked if they had deals and the younglady seating us said there were no deals. Went here for the all you can eat shrimp deal which was $33 with a purchase of a drink hence I?ll only review the shrimp in... terms of food. If you like seafood but don?t eat too much seafood I would recommend getting the shrimps headless for the extra $as it?s less overwhelming and messy to eat. Sauce wise the captains boil sauce might be one of the best sauces I?ve tried on anyfood in Canada so definitely don?t waste your time trying the other stuff. Fries were pretty good though. I wish they wouldprovide the captains boil sauce on the side. Other seafood such as crab and lobster seemed pretty pricey but overall a reallyreally fun experience if you like seafood! Read more
