Following TorontoLife's 2022 Top 15 best croissants of the city, I headed over to The Black Pony Café to grab a Dijon Cheddar... Onion Croissant and a tea latte to pair. Croissant was amazing, delicious savory flavor, and fluffy soft pastry. The Caféitself has a great atmosphere and is filled with kind and helpful staff. I hosted my birthday there and am so grateful for the staff and owners at The Black Pony. They were super friendly, the process... was easy, the food was tasty and well-priced, and the atmosphere was fun and unpretentious. The place is pretty calm and has a very nice vibe. The lady that attended us was super nice and told us about the specials. We... ended up ordering the deviled eggs which were very good. We also ordered the duck leg sandwich and porchetta. Both were verydelicious and plated nicely. It wasn't to busy and items seemed reasonably priced for the quality it was. This place has been my saving grace during a COVID mat leave. Staff is incredibly friendly, coffee is strong and hands down the... best croissant I?ve had in the city. Also very baby friendly. I never remember to get a pic before I dive in - hence the halfeaten treats. Read more
