The burger, pot pie and mushroom soups were great! I would have given it a five stars. However, the $22 jerk pork sandwich was a... huge disappointment with burnt tiny bits of pork on a thick pita and a tiny piece of fresh mango! Not much of any cold slaweither. I expected better. Read more

Nice ambience, friendly service. The food was good too. I ordered the chicken pot pie which was yummy though a little small. It... comes either with the Garden or Caesar salad and I had the latter which was good. My hubby had the burger (also kinda small) butit was tasty as well. The portion of fries was quite large. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing!! Read more

The lady who serves us is also nice and friendly. I recommend their onion soup which isamazing and huge portion and make you almost full. Their trout is delicious in every way it's being cooked . Cozy place, great service and delicious food. You can sit inside or outside on the patio. Had the vegan burger from their... specials menu which was fantastic. The butternut squash soup and sweet potato fries were also great. Ended the night with theirsticky toffee pudding, which I highly recommend! Portion size on the fried dill pickles was very small (1 pickle split into 4slices for $7). Overall a great local place, will surely go back. Read more

SERVICE: 5/5 No complaints. Our server was very attentive and courteous. FOOD: 3/5 I was disappointed in the quality of my... burger. The patty was somewhat dry and lacked in flavour. Cheddar cheese should not be on the burger, to begin with. It's gross.Mozzarella or Swiss is the way to go. The buns were good though. The fries were very good too. Not sure why coleslaw wasn'tcreamy like at most other places. I didn't like their coleslaw. It tasted as if it came from a store-bought jar. It wasn'thomemade. Mind you, my experience is limited by one visit. Perhaps, their calamari and "chips and fish" are to die for. I don'tknow. So far, I'm giving them 3/5 stars. If my experience proves to be different next time, I will consider upgrading my rating. Read more

My Girlfriend and I have been meaning to try Belsize for the last little while and finally got the chance. We sat on the side... patio, which is covered and very bright. They have their specials on the chalk board inside and their drink and regular menu onthe chalkboards outside. I'm a bit of a soup guy, so I started with the smoked tomato and roasted red pepper soup to start. AndI was not disappointed. Them we shared the Crispy Buffalo shrimp, a nice lightly breaded shrimp with a blue cheese dip andbuffalo shrimp cocktail sauce. Our mains were the California club sandwich, which was huge! With a side of fries and the fishand chips. The fish was crispy on the outside and hot and tender on the inside and came with a delicious tartar sauce. I'm gladwe decided to try Belsize finally and will be making our way back there in the near future! Read more
