This place used to have Fairmont of Montreal recipes and quality about second rate to the original. Now it's truly terrible.... Baking is dry. Bagels are garbage and half cooked and the texture is dense and awful. And the staff appear to be overworked andclearly underpaid as they are truly unhappy. Very polite and very obviously unhappy. Portions are small, prices are high,quality is low, staff morale is low...did the Weston's buy this out? The product quality here on all fronts has become soabysmal as to render the troublesome parking situation enough of a deterrent to avoid it altogether. Read more
The bagels are decent but the service is always abysmal and insanely slow. I can usually put up with it but this morning I... walked in and was completely ignored for nearly 5 minutes before the two women eventually looked up and said ?sorry one minute?.They seemed to have a big order which I totally understand but a greeting and an honest prediction of how long the wait would bewould have been nice. I ended up walking out without ordering because it had taken so long to even be acknowledged and I had toget to work. No breakfast for me I suppose! Read more

Very disappointed in the portion of Smoked Meat in their Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich. Even compared to other Bagel House... locations, they really skimped on the portion of meat. Seems ridiculous to pay $10 for a sandwich with more tomatoes than meaton it. Read more
My 10 year old and I went in. It was empty. We ordered 2 plain bagels, lightly toasted. That's it. We repeated to her plain... bagels, lightly toasted. She slathered the bagels with cream cheese. When I told her we had wanted plain bagels, she lookeddaggers at me, wrapped the cream cheese bagels and threw them in the trash with force. She then threw a KNIFE across thekitchen. I was scared. She made two plain bagels for us and pretty much threw them at me. She also seemed to overcharge. I wastoo afraid to say anything. We won't go back. Read more

Delicious Bagel and Excellent service. I tried three versions of their bagel and my favourite is Montreal Smoke meat on... Everything Bagel. The bagel is soft and warm and meat is delicious. The breakfast bagel on plain bagel was hot and sausage withegg where hot and fresh. It was simply amazing. And my third one was Turkey on Healthy grain which blew me away. MOLD IN MY PASTRY! Bought a bunch of bagels and decided to get a cheese bagel pastry as a treat. When I started to eat it the... next day it tasted horrid, I cut it open to find copious amounts of MOLD. It's impossible the mold could of manifested overnightespecially to that degree.
