We went to the place because it was close to Trinity bellwoods park to pick up. The store and kitchen was very clean. And the... staffs was kind. We ordered roll tray B, chicken garage, fire fusion roll, Tempura, and veggi Tatsu. And we brought them toTrinity bellwoods park. All foods was so amazing. Weather was perfect. Good friends with delicious foods. We really enjoyed thepicnic time. Specially I strongly recommend Veggi Tatsu if you are vesiterian. It was so unique taste I have nerve tried inother sushi places. Ordered takeout sushi from here on the weekend due to some amazing reviews. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Got two... orders of the sashimi appetizer, spicy salmon roll, tatsu aburi roll and a dragon roll. First thing Ill say is they didn'tprovide any chopsticks or soya sauce. Right off the bat this kinda killed my experience as without soya sauce sushi and sashimiisnt the same. The miso soup was actually delicious. Possibly the best miso soup I've had in a while. Sadly that's where thegood parts ended. The sashimi was average and parts of it were still a bit frozen. The rolls all basically stuck together thenfell apart which is always a sign of poor sushi to me as you end up eating pieces of sushi as opposed to a slice of theroll. I ordered Volcano roll and a sushi & sashimi combo. Both of them were very fresh and delicious. Volcano roll tasted very unique,... one of the best rolls I ever had. Seasoning of the sushi rice was well balanced unlike other places who pours sugar and vinegarends up killing the taste of the fish. All the fundamental ingredients seemed to be kept fresh/well prepared and I was verysatisfied with the end result. The store looked very clean and tidy as well. Recommended. Read more
Tatsu Sushi has perhaps one of the best 'spicy salmon roll' of all sushi place I went to in Toronto. Why so specific? Well, I... really love 'spicy salmon roll' and it is something I always ordered every time I visit a sushi shop. So if you are like me,then you should definitely try it! Aside from that, the sushi/sashimi and food tasted great and worth your money. It is pricedwell; and I highly recommend getting the combo or set menu to get the most of it.
