Favourite thing about Taiyaki is the easy to understand the menu. Usually these ice cream places have long lines and confusing... menus. The user experience was very well thought out. Ordered the Matcha with Strawberry drizzle on a cone with red Beanfilling. Nonetheless, it was very delicious 100% worth it Lines are not very long, service was quick and staff were superfriendly! This place is the bomb. So glad they opened in Toronto. Having been familiar to the fish waffles already (from Japan and some... other shops), I knew what it was supposed to taste like. But Taiyaki NYC does it in an entirely different whirl. The exterior iscrunchy, the interior is soft; it?s an extremely unique experience. Read more

Cute place with awesome flavours and the *fish waffle cone thingy* is just too good. They have multi-color wallpapers and a... flower wallpaper to satisfy all your Instagram desires. They don't have that many seats tho. Read more
