**check your bills before paying here! I had originally given this place a 5 star but after my experience the other day I'm... bringing it down. Went back for their margarita Wednesday's and they had "mistakenly" added an additional drink on each of ourbills. We told the manager to fix our bills since we had one less but he accused us of lying about our order. Now I'm all forsupporting small businesses but the manager's attitude was unacceptable. Like why would we lie about how many drinks we had. Wetried explaining that to him and even the other server that makes the cocktail agreed with us but the manager still treated uslike we were liars. The worst part is the cocktail server apologized and the manager just kept mumbling on about how his systemhad x number in it. I definitely will not be going back as I don't spend my money with dishonest people. Anyways, just makesure you check your bills before paying for anything here because I'm sure this is how they "mistakenly" add on to your bill. Read more
Tried the beef barbacoa nachos and chicken naked burrito, and will definitely be coming back for the nachos! The burrito bowl... was light and fresh, and hit the spot. Food was served fresh, quick, plenty of flavour and fairly priced. Read more
Clandestina should be clandestine. Never have I had worse nachos?and at a Mexican restaurant? How?? The small hair mixed into... the sour cream wasn?t even worth mentioning, since we weren?t interested in eating them after a few bites anyway. The serverslook like they hate their lives, just miserable - especially the men. We are on the patio and our food was given in to-go boxeswith plastic cutlery. No plates. I had the fish tacos - the shell of the tacos had the oddest taste, though the contents weretasty. We were shocked when our $14 a glass Sangria arrived in the tiniest plastic cups, loaded with ice?maybe 4oz? Needless tosay, will not be returning. Do not recommend. Very disappointing. Read more
Love this little neighborhood spot. We sat outside on the patio, it's so cute and well put together. The lights are a nice... addition and it was shaded which was great. They had fun music which added to the atmosphere. The Margaritas we're reallygood! The tacos delicious! Great service ???? Definitely worth a visit! Read more
Ordered takeout 2 baja fish tacos and they were delicious. I ate the tacos after my 10-15 minute walk home and they still tasted... fresh. The Tuesday special $4 per taco was awesome and the portion size is worth it. The service was quick and the staff arefriendly Read more
They have a takeout window on Yonge and a (seasonal) patio right on the street (see photos). The menu given to me was dirty and... stained. I ordered a fish taco and a chicken taco (each costing $5.54 including tax). The tacos are very small and each had twocorn tortillas (probably as a "gut fill" since the tacos are small). The chicken taco had probably less than a spoon of thinlyshredded chicken. Really a minimal amount of chicken The fish piece was also very small. Both tacos tasted mostly of thetortillas. Not a good value and I certainly did not find it a quality product. The "patio" seating in the photos was onlyavailable till October 2021. As of now, they only have 2 small tables with 2 bar- stools each on the sidewalk next to thecurb. Read more
Excellent overall. My wife andI had the pork cochinita, beef barbacoa and baja fish tacos and all were great. I liked the beef... best, with pork second, but my wife preferred the fish. Three to four tacos were a good meal depending on your appetite.Finished off with a chocolate churro which was very nice. Will definitely be back. Read more
Although People working here are not the most friendly, good place to have some tacos in this neighborhood. Each taco is $5 and... the portion is not bad for the price you pay. Read more
