Have been seeing fewer locations lately - I think all restaurants in BC are closed down. So when I moved to Toronto, I knew I... had to go again to see what I can't remember. Came on a rainy day, so there were available seating. Was originally going toorder take-out, but decided to dine in since there are more options available. The server was friendly and attentive, makingsure I was alright. I ordered a meal, starting off with Cheese Perogies - wasn't expecting the perogies to be deep fried, but Ienjoyed these cheese stuffed pockets. I also got myself a Shirley Temple (because I'm a child), and it was okay - I thinkthere's something missing in the drink though. Then the main dish arrived: Quarter Chicken (white meat) with Fries. I orderedMashed Potatoes, but I was just hungry at this point. The chicken is very juicy, packed with a flavour that makes you want tokeep on eating. The fries were alright, should have gotten the seasoned variety instead. As for the sauce (gravy?), there's aprominent apple flavour to it, which I wasn't sure whether I exactly liked. The staff provided great service; it did seem thatthere wasn't enough staff, but then again, it wasn't a busy day. I've been going to this location for years, and our favorite server Margarite was fantastic (and sadly missed) until she retired... from this location. Cloe and Dionne are incredible, and make every experience a great one. The food is delicious, the chickenis done perfectly, and the fries are perfect. This is a great location for a fast meal, family gathering or just to enjoydelicious food. Highly recommended! Read more

Swiss Chalet has fallen. Fries, buns, and mashed potatoes were not as fresh as usual. Food was not as hot as usual, seemed... like it had been sitting for a long time but we didn't wait long to get the food. The pie has shrunk to less than half of thepre-covid size will no longer order the apple pie. Chicken (dark) was drier than normal. Chicken soup was ok. All in all a verydisappointing experience we could've gotten the same meal from a grocery store & it would've been better & cheaper. Service wasminimal, wasn't asked if we wanted anything else or if our food was ok, just presented with the pie & bill before we finishedour meals. Read more
The food and server experience was positive, the negative tone and environment presented by the manager wasn?t pleasant when you... come for a dinner Upon arrival at 7:30, the manager communicated in a negative tone that the dining room is closing at 8:00 At8:14, she started flicker the lights in the rest and turned off the tv, in which I was watching I paid the bill at 8:00 andrelaxing and very rude of the manager to turn the lights off and tv. My take out roasted beef sandwich order was prepared quickly & was packed very well. The Gentlemen took my order was polite &... courtesy. The order was pretty good, very tasty & the fries were plentiful. Definitely will go back again. Read more
