This establishment treats their delivery drivers with utmost disrespect. I picked up an order from this place few days ago and... this is what it says on the driver note ? ? ALL COURIERS MUST BRING THERMAL BAG INTO RESTAURANT TO PICK UP YOUR ORDER. HAVEORDER NUMBER READY. Enter through double doors, and turn left to take out area till. Pack order, and leave restaurantimmediately.? ?Leave restaurant immediately? what kind of language is this ??? There is a more human and formal way to instructyour drivers. Please be respectful and learn how to communicate with people. Delivery drivers helps your business make money andwe deliver your food to ur customers. Show some respect!! Read more

I ordered at 7:50pm expecting an hour or better before it arrived. I watched the tracker and went outside after the tracker said... the food was on the way as our buzzer code isn?t working. At 9:13 pm I called to ask whether my meal was coming. I was assuredthat it was. I asked at that time that if the tracker was correct, the food would be cold by the time it arrived. The person onthe phone apologized and thanked me for calling Swiss Chalet. My food arrived at 9:29pm! One hour and forty-nine minutes afterit was ordered. The driver stated that the food had been in his car for about thirty-five minutes but was definitely hot. Hestated that they were busy. As I expected, the food was a mess. First of all, I ordered the thanksgiving dinners - and so theycame with pies. Those pies were put in a separate bag - TURNED ON THEIR SIDE - and then taped to the top of the hot meals. Thedriver then put the package as taped up into a thermal bag. The pies ordered were lemon meringue and coconut cream. The coconutcream pie wasn?t recognizable as pie. The lemon was in mildly better shape, but they both looked like they?d rolled off thetable before getting to me. The food was all cold. So I called back and asked for my money back. The person on the phone saidshe could issue me a credit. I said I didn?t want a credit - I have ZERO plans to order from you again if this is your idea offood. She said I had to talk to the store directly - I was forwarded to the store (without checking to see if they?d even answeras they were well closed) and I spoke to someone there. He didn?t identify himself and said that I could call customer serviceto get a credit. I said I want my money back as I won?t be ordering again. He said he?d have to get the kitchen manager and putme on hold. Nobody ever picked up the phone again. After being on hold a while, I called from my other phone and the customerservice person there tried calling the store and got no answer. She said I?d have to call agai Read more

Seriously awful. Ordered a white quarter chicken meal for take out. Got home to find there was zero meat on the so-called... chicken?just a small pile of bones and skin (not even the wing that normally comes with a quarter). And the service at thisstore is horrendous. Poorly trained rude staff (every time I go there). I was ignored for more than half an hour before theytook my order with the cashier just walking away without even acknowledging my presence or saying sorry for ignoring me, and theguy who took over the register didn?t inow their own products or how to use the regustrer, and they served the guy behind mebefore me ?I think he got my breast meat because he?d ordered a half white. The staff were scrambling over a bunch of Doordashorders that had gotten screwed up and lost. Never going back to this location. Read more

I can only post this review to the location making the delivery but it is actually about Corporates website and customer... service. Becareful if you want to use your CAA discount. The system no longer adds the card automactically...very sneaky.....soyou don't get your discount. When you call customer service, that's a joke, person keeps reading the scrip saying sorry for theinconvenience at least 3 times, but takes absolutely no action other than saying I'll transfer you to the store. The personwouldnt add the credit to future orders or provide anything for what I am actually owed. I'm not asking for more just what waspromised by way of your advertising. When did companies start providing no customer service, increase prices add exorbitantadditional fees and expect you to keep showing up. Swiss Chalet you better pick up your socks. The person who pays for yourlack of service and bad online order tool is the guy delivering the food. Read more

I was visiting Canada with my guide group from the UK. We went to Swiss chalet by the lake it was a quite warm day and the air... conditioning was not up to par. When we arrived at the table part of our group were sat in the booth in the corner. There was awet patch on the seat right in the corner and we later discovered the vent above was leaking. We had no clue what liquid itcould be but the vent looked rusty. We had two waitresses for our group of 21. The waitress that served our half of the groupwas dealing with one gluten free girl. The woman seemed confused when we brought up the allergy like she wasn't aware thatgluten existed or what it was. It took 5 of us and a second waitress to explain. This doesn't seem professional that a waitressdoesn't know about a food allergy. A common one at that. Again while we were waiting it was fairly quiet but the waitress keptgetting food wrong and messing up orders. One of the group ordered double legged dinner and the chicken came pink. Then anotherof the group had to wait an extra 20 mins for their food to arrive and it seemed like they had just forgotten about it and itfelt overall unprofessional. I went to the toilet after my meal and there was mold in a few places like in the mirrors. Thetoilets seem unproffesionaly installed. The sink was wobbling off the surface and it was a horrendous experience and I wasdisgusted andedt immediately. It generally just wasn't a good experience and I'm glad I'm leaving Canada tommorow so I don'tneed to experience this again Read more

Visited here on Mother's Day (my family and I's second time being here). Main: We ordered the chicken/ribs special and chicken... with fries. I'm not a fan of the sauce that was on the ribs, it was a bit tangy to me. Also, the chicken was nice but a bit dry(the dip it comes with wasn't much help as I didn't like it that much either). Sides: I LOVE the fries, always so soft andlightly salted. The bread was also good (I spread the butter that comes in the little container on it). Desserts: I ordered thefudge cake but ended up not liking it as much as I thought I would - mostly because it didn't taste chocolatey enough, butthat's on me. My sister had the cheesecake and she said it was good (I'd take her word for it). Kudos to our server who wasquick to seat and serve us - she even gave us each a small bag of chocolates (wish I got a picture of them)! ????? Tinybackstory: This was the second time my family and I visited this location. We got patio seats the first time and wanted to seeif we could get them again but I think we either showed up too late or they didn't set them out that day. It's highly possiblethat we'll try again this summer. Read more

Always wanted to try Swiss chalet as we dont see many in MTL. The food was okay. Comparable to Benny but the chicken tasted... juicier. Their swiss chalet fries were well seasoned and the sauce was quite different from most rotisserie places gravy whichis a good thing in this situation. Service was okay too. Asked for a take out box and got a dirty oily one which kind ofshocked me. Other than that everything was fine. Read more
