The food has authentic Indian taste and can put and end to your desi cravings. Located near Harbour front on main road. The... portions are good and well cooked. We tried mutton and felt it could have been a little more tender/soft. Overall very good.Food was well packed. Channa was also tasty. Naan was fresh and tasty. Over it was value for money. Read more

Naan was awesome. A little slow for pick up orders. Appetizers were delicious. Paneer was top notch. Biryani was not bad. ... Will try the tandoori chicken soon! Read more

We ordered takeout given the lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Picking up was easy, payment was contactless. I did need... to wait a bit outside, but that wasn't a big deal. We definitely weren't disappointed. I've had Swades twice before the pandemicstarted and enjoyed it both times. The family hasn't been able to try it until this past weekend. Everyone loved it. Except mydaughter. She didn't like the spice. But she did like the yogurt dip and the spring rolls. Read more

Today i ordered chicken tikka masala with garlic naan; my bad luck they served after 20 mins, moreover onions were served after... 30 mins. Taste was dull. Naan didn?t seemed fresh. Waste of money, went empty stomach. Though the man who served us wasgenerous. Even the washroom was dirty. Better not to go!! Read more

Disappointing experience. Visited the place on Victoria day (Monday). For lunch at around 1:30 pm. The weekly lunch plans were... not available so we had to order the dinner plans which was the same thing but 2 dollars more expensive. When we asked theserver what was the difference between the two, she said everything was the same. There was no difference whatsoever. When themeal arrived, we didn't get any naan and raita (which was a part of the meal as we were supposed to get curry+rice+naan+raita). The server also looked extremely uninterested in serving us. There was absolutely no sense ofhospitality. Coming to the food, we ordered chicken tikka masala, Bombay fish curry and aloo gobhi. The chicken and the aloogobhi were bellow par and you could easily spot the food color seeping into the chicken. The Bombay fish curry tasted good(which is exactly why I have given 2 stars instead of 1). Overall poor experience. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Read more

Great place to have lunch, ambience is not so great but the food makes up for it. It's a small eatery located in the vicinity of... Downtown in Toronto. A place where you can have quick bite and move on. It caters Indian cuisine and the service is very good.Food is not over the top, it's just average. Read more
