Long wait is usual. Expect 15min to 20min because they're understaffed. Food is good, people are nice.
Located in very busy downtown, has all the fresh ingredients friendly person behind kitchen.
Best experience at a Subway! The person making your sandwich is polite friendly and helpful.... you can see that it is genuine... humanity and respect for a fellow human being, and not cause he wants your money. I have been here a couple of times at nearlyclosing time and every time it was this guy who does the late / graveyard shift who has been so nice that it just felt so niceespecially after such a long day at work. I pay by card and his machine doesn't even Demand a tip (There's no option either)unlike so many places which have terrible service but still coerce you to tip even though you may not feel like it. I go thereon my way back when I have had a long day at work and am too tired to cook. It has always been so nice, even when I asked forthe sub of the day which wasn't offered anymore, (I usually go for the sub of the day as I too am struggling here making endsmeet and try to save wherever I can) I did not get any snide/ condescending replies that its not available but was told verynicely that the offer wasn't there. Best experience at a subway location.My sub was exceptionally good, fresh bread and ingredients definitely stood out, hence why... I'm writting this review. The gentleman making my order was attentive and friendly, didn't drown my sandwich in sauce or skimpout on ingredients. The restaurant was tidy and he was properly masked with good hygiene practices (rare in the fast foodindustry these days). Read more
Warning: Do not order catering from here. If you're looking for a sub for yourself, this Subway is fine. The staff are friendly... and work hard. The food is what you'd expect from Subway. But this restaurant is not prepared for big orders. I went in personon a Wednesday to place an order for the next day for 5 catering platters. I talked to a nice employee and the manager. Theycarefully wrote down everything I asked for. We agreed on a 4:20 pick-up and I expressed how important it was for me to have itready on time as I needed it for a 5:00 event nearby. I showed up at 4:30 the next day, thinking I gave them more time tofinish my order. They said mine wasn't ready yet. I asked how long and they said 10 minutes. I waited patiently for 10 minutes.Then I asked again. They again said 10 minutes. They finally finished my order at 5:10. To their credit they were apologetic,but three things bothered me: 1) They didn't work ahead to get the order done on time. 2) They weren't honest with how muchlonger it would be. I could have gave better warning to our event guests. 3) They kept serving other individual customers evenwhile I was there waiting late for my order. If 50 individuals are lined up for a sub, you don't let the 51st jump ahead of theline, so why do that when it is a large take-out order? I hope employee training for these kinds of situations improves. Read more
LET ME PREFACE THIS WITH: please read my other reviews. This is one of the few reviews where I do not have the nicest things to... say. 0/10 will not be back to this location :( Recently went to this Subway location (was there May 19th 2021) and I think itwas maybe about 7:30pm? Whoever was working was very clearly NOT having the time of his life. The entire time I was there, Ifelt like I was ruining his day. Keep in mind there was nobody in the store when I got there, nobody came in while I was thereand nobody entered the store once I left. There were also no online orders or anything, either. Now, I understand not beingoverly friendly, fine, sure but a greeting or acknowledgement would have been nice! I let this go, and we began building subs.My god what a nightmare :( Everything I asked for, seemed to inconvenience the gentleman working. Added cheese to subs I did notwant to add cheese to, went ahead and added white cheddar to all of them, did not ask if I wanted cheese or which kind. Alsoproceeded to put every single sub in the oven and when I asked if it could not be toasted yet, he rudely replied with, "I haveto toast it." Okay, that is fair, I understand, but I did not want it toasted *yet*. From the eye rolling to the obvious "Idon't want to be here" vibes, this was easily THE WORST!!!!! THE. WORST. experience I have ever had at a Subway. The only reasonI gave it 2 stars was because the subs were mediocre! I really do love Subway and I know times are tough and staff is short andthin but, come on :( I'm a nice girl, I came in and it was empty, and I felt like I was a burden.
