We dined here last night the experience was great. We had a table for two on the roof top which is quite nice however quite... windy. You may want to bring a jacket. I ordered an Old Fashion to start and it was perfect. Much like the kind you would getin a high end steak house where this type of drink is a staple. For entrees we had the tagliatelle bolognese and a burger withfries. Both meals exceptionally high quality despite their simple nature. For desert, Tiramisu. One of the best in the city onlysecond to Banfi where they make their own. Waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The overall vibe was very cool.Great place to spend a Friday evening. I would definitely recommend this place. It’s an experience with the ground floorbeing a grocery story for all things Italian and premium meats with an emphasis on quality across the board. Read more
Would Return. (Takeout/Salad Bar) Seems like majority of the low ratings are for dine-in. Their takeout salads, pastries and... actual shop are quite worth it and of exceptional quality. The Chicken Salad is one of the most worth it items I've seen inToronto. $9.99 for a generous serving loaded with protein. Would return for other items. Great for locals. Takes AMEX. Read more

I ordered a small chickpea salad and the butternut squash (if I remembered the names correctly). Even though they were a small... size, it’s very filling and a bit bigger than what I anticipated. The butternut squash was delicious! It was sweet and theadd-ons of corn and pumpkin seeds were very yummy. Even if you’re someone who doesn’t like vegetables, the chickpea salad isgreat! The seasoning makes the peppers not even taste like it. I assume they use ingredients available there, so everythingtastes very fresh and authentic. Definitely not somewhere you’d go out every day, but a great place to get some food everyweek or so. Read more
This was a generally average dining experience. Service and food were both sufficient; the most impressive part being the... restaurant design and decor. I was in the area and noticed that Stock had reservations available for the day and jumped at thechance noting how difficult it was to find one during the summer. My party of 3 shared everything and mutually enjoyed the pastaitself, it had great bite and flavour; though I felt the Norcina dish was under-seasoned. Their egg and truffle pizza wasdecadent and egg yolks silky, though despite the amount of truffle shavings wasn’t as aromatic as I would have thought. Steakwas fine for what it was, the sauce was forgettable. Our server was fine though I suppose it would have been nice being alertedas to their daily rotating items such as their terrine. I only saw that it was a pork hock terrine while passing the kitchen toexit and would have loved to try. I’m not sure I would return by choice. Read more
They sat us at the patio in the front, however judging from the reviews the rooftop patio is much nicer. Would highly recommend... making reservations to ensure you are seated there. After we finished our food we moved inside for a drink, the indoor dining isextremely nice. The bar and and restaurant has great atmosphere. The food and drinks were delicious ???? They also have a grocerdownstairs with a bakery and deli, recommend checking it out. Read more
*Review focuses on the Bakery* My friend brought me to this place, which caught me off guard since it's a grocery store which... was converted from a bank. Either way, it seems like a very high-end grocery store (not even Whole Foods could rival thisplace). Regardless, we went to the bakery to get some desserts. So many selections, and the only thing I wanted was the PumpkinSpice Gelato - unfortunately, all the basics got to it before me. Instead I opted for the Pistachio Tart, and that thing wasboth heavy and filling. I really enjoyed the Pistachio cream, and the crust reminded me of the Purdy's Ultimate Bar - it wasdelicious! My friend got the Cheesecake, and that too was dense, but packed with a lot of flavour. While I would like to goback to browse what other selections are available, I can say that I really enjoyed these overpriced desserts at the upscalegrocery store.
