This place seriously went downhills, after the new "manager" took over this location: service there now terrible and incredibly... slow. So slow in fact, that even if you order online 12 minutes in advance, you still will have to wait an extra 3 or 4 minutesafter arriving at the location, and that is for a basic Americano (read: nothing crazy or desert in a cup!). It is completelyridiculous, and worth me walking past my place of work to start ordering and picking-up my morning coffee at the Erskinelocation. Please note: it isn't like the place was packed with people either. I realize that several locations nearby have nowclosed, making this location the only Starbucks within a 750 km radius, however since I have been picking-up my coffee at thislocation for years, I can attest that service was much better this new manager came, and the team was much friendlier (whichalso changed). I?ve visited so many times this location. But I was so mad because of the one staff. Her name is Simay. I wanted to charge my... Starbucks card so after ordering my drinks I asked her but she just ignored me and didn?t try to listen to me. So I asked hertwice but she never said any answers. She just turned on the machine and stared at me. She seemed so unprofessional and rude. Her customer service horrible. I believe she is the rudest staff I?ve ever met in my Starbucks experience the whole world. Themanager should let her know about customer service education. I WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN THIS LOCATION. Paying 85 cents for an extra pump of syrup means just that. I want an extra pump of syrup. It doesn?t mean give me just 1... pump. Yet that is what happens every single time. Either your employees need to be re-trained, or the Uber App options need tobe looked at. $8 for a drink I?m going to dump. Read more

Over the past few months, this location has gone steadily downhill. If you are expecting to get in and out quickly for a coffee,... it won't happen here. Avoid busy times. Today, one cash was open at 8:30 AM and they constantly have trainees there. The foodchoices are not what they used to be. Read more

A small little Starbucks for a quiet coffee experience in the hustle and bustle of Yonge Street. There is precious little... seating here, it's best for people who need to grab their fix of coffee and run to work. I liked the vibe of the place though,it felt like an Isle of peace in the chaos outside. Just keep your expectations in check and you'll be fine. Read more

The stars represent this drink specifically and not SB on a whole. 'gr Pineapple refresh lem' did not taste like what we thought... it would taste like or the advertised taste. dehydrated pineapple floating in undefined sugar water...why? For us this missedthe mark. I took one for the team and downed it, I hate waste especially food waste. Staff were awesome and engaged as per SBnormal. Drink was $5plus. Please like and share my review. Read more

Weak, bland drinks: limp, stale, frozen food. When you shell out 6$ for a signature beverage, you think to yourself, "Wow this... is a colossal waste of money, but at least it will taste good." This Starbucks defies the latter half of that justification, delivering mediocrity at every turn. I only visited today to refine my homemade imitation of the shaken oat espresso, only tolearn that I have long since surpassed this location in coffee making -- note: my barista hardware consists only of a frenchpress compared to their thousand dollar industry standard coffee machines. Go to bulk barn, buy french roast, brew it tepidlyovernight and then press and serve with cream, sugar, oat milk, etc. It amazes me that an institution solely dedicated to makingbeverages can have such poor quality control. On the plus side, I now appreciate the 439 university location more. Myexperience at that location, which I would have previously perceived to be average, turned out to be exceptional given the newStarbucks standard. The employees did not seem too happy either, again falling short of the 439 university experience, whichhad a palpable air of positivity. Limited seating, a cramped serving area and several unnecessary employees behind the counterrounded off this pathetic experience. Read more
