Reviews for Spicebros in Toronto, ON
So, on a very rare occasion, the reviews on Google are not so accurate. When I walked in, the smells were very appetising. I... wish I could say the same for the Curry Chicken Bro bowl I had for lunch. I opted for the rice and potato as the beans lookedthey were left overs from the day before. The sauce I picked was the Scorpion and I asked for all the toppings. Although I amall for fusion, I think some things are left best as original. Lets start with the chicken which was dry (almost lost a tooth onone piece) and was cut into such small pieces that they disappeared in the bowl. The star of the dish should have been the currysauce, but was under seasoned and tasted like the no name brand you bought at No Frills. From there my bowl turned into a hotmess with no distinguishing flavors. I'm not sure where all the 5 stars and shining accolades come from, but the next time Icrave Indian, Ill steer clear of fusion and head for traditional. Read more

Frankie Roll wasAMAZING, their Naan was made to order, ready within a minute, it was so soft, pillowy, Butter Chicken was creamy, flavourful, along with their Wu-Tangy Mayo, Scorpion Sauce and West Coast Coriander, so good! Chaana Samosa was a chopped Samosa topped withChanna Masala, Veggies, absolutely loved the flavour and texture! Bro Bowl came in HUGE portion, we got Tandoori Chicken, SpicyPotatoes on a bed of Basmati Rice, topped with Corn, Coleslaw, Carrots, Scorpian Sauce and West Coast Coriander, gosh that wasINSANELY good! One of my new favourite spots in Toronto for Indian fast food with a western twist. We tried the Sloppy Bro burger and the... Frankie Roll. Both were amazing. The chicken in the burger was perfectly cooked with the right amount of seasoning. One of thebest chicken burgers I have had in Toronto. The frankie roll was perfect with a plain naan and the server was generous with thevegetable toppings and I requested for a mix of sauces which made it even more flavourful. For spice lovers, I recommend the XOsauce mixed with Chipotle mayo and green chutney. I have saved this place for the future. Read more

The bowl of deliciousness was sufficient for my partner and me!! A win-win for all :) I got the butter chicken as protein and... choose spicy potatoes and basmati rice for the base. There are a variety of options for toppings and sauces - all of which areamazing. The girl who fixed my order was very patient and gave her suggestions. She was right that the xxx spicy sauce isn'treally that spicy. When we mixed it all in, it felt like we were eating biryani which is our favorite. Getting the lassi was anice add on. Can't wait to come back. The restaurant is conveniently located close to Islington station. Just a 3 min walkwhich is pretty great to grab a quick bite. Wishing them much success and hope they open more branches in Toronto! Read more
