I absolutely loved my experience here! All of the staff were so kind and attentive ! The food was extremely flavorful and the... presentation was well thought out ! I loved that each server would make sure our table was wiped clean a few times during outseating, I've never experienced this at any other restaurant and it's something I appreciate so much ! The music was trendy andpleasant it gave great vibes ! The cocktail was strong and well worth the money unlike some restaurants where they charge you arediculous amount and you can barely taste the alcohol. Than You Sofia for a fun night ! We will definitely be returning ! Read more
The food here is very underwhelming. The place itself is gorgeous but the food lacks any substantial flavour. If you're looking... to spend a lot of money to take nice photos and have a drink, it's fine. However, it's not the place to go eat somethingdelicious. The waiters are very nice but it does not make sense to eat here. You can always spend this amount of money somewhereelse and enjoy the food. Read more
Fine dining, upscale, modern Italian cuisine. Great ambience and attention to detail from the furnishings to lighting. ... Tucked away beside an art gallery in Toronto's swanky Yorkville. Great service and your taste buds will come alive. Read more
Great environment, service! Drinks are nice and strong, not watered down. Unfortunately, the fried seafood app was... disappointing, the batter not quite seasoned and the seafood was just small chopped up pieces. The pastas were good, borderlineundercooked but nice and al dente at the same time. Seasoned well and good portions, but also nothing mind blowing. Would returnto try other items. Read more
Food and wine was delicious. Price on the higher end but it's Yorkville. The complimentary bread was so good, we asked for more.... Beautiful restaurant and comfortable seating. Servers were friendly and frequently checked in. Read more
Went out with my wife for an “After Valentines Day” dinner at Sofia’s Yorkville to avoid crowds. I reserved on “Open... Table” back in January anticipating challenges with availability. Restaurant was beautiful, Server was knowledgable and thefood portion and taste was great. Only thing was next time I will call ahead to ensure we are seated in the dining room insteadof the bar area even after reserving with ample time. It was gorgeous but the circular table was very small, slightly lowerthan typical dining tables and full of items when we sat down (2 wine glasses, 2 water glasses, a bread plate with napkin andutensils and a small 6inch tall lamp). As soon as the hostess placed the menu in front of us, which were long, on the table, aglass was knocked over and broke when the menu was opened. The plus side was that 2-3 staff immediately cleaned it all up andreplaced everything. The server said it happens far too often - not sure if he’s saving me from embarrassment or genuinelyannoyed that management hasn’t changed their set up. Overall, great upscale restaurant. We would go back. Read more
Dine in with two families on their beautiful patio with 1 toddler, and 2 children under 9. Food was well prepared. I enjoyed the... service very much, and felt well taken care of re covid concerns especially being pregnant and everyone was nice. Ordered thepomodoro spaghetti for my toddler and the menu did not mention any chilli on the menu but I tasted it and it has some spicykick to it and the toddler complained about the spicy flavour. For an average toddler age 2.5 it was a bit much but she managedto eat most as she had some intro to some spicy food before . This should be mentioned on the menu that there is spicy oil in itas she didn't want to eat it as much as the heat accumulated. We then ordered a second pasta for her - - - Butter pasta off menuand it was a bit pricy for a kid ($25?) but was delicious. tiramisu was more like cake and a bit dry and coffee flavour did notstand out, jelly on top did not have much flavour so I wouldnt recommend that. But all the other food was really delicious(lobster, wagyu, mushrooms, burrata, zucchini flowers, lobster pasta etc) and would love to return again on their patio. Read more
