The menu and signage is entirely overwhelming. There is so much to read everywhere you look. The good thing is that the staff... seems to know this and can spot overwhelmed customers stunned and trying to take it all in so they will help walk you throughit, which definitely helps. they will leave you waiting for your food without telling you whether or not its ready. once theyprepare it they will leave it to get cold unless you repeatedly ask for it again. i was only given my food after requesting arefund following an extensive wait for about 10 minutes. I do not recommend, with this poor, poor service. they say below theykeep it under a heat lamp, but if so, my drink was under the same heat lamp as the burger getting warm. so which is it, burgergetting cold or drink getting warm? they were together. i will not be returning in the short term. maybe i'll try again in ayear to see if its improved. This is my favorite place to get vegetarian poutine in the area! The prices are decent and staff are very attentive. The food... comes out fairly quickly as well. I have returned to this spot multiple times to satisfy my poutine cravings and plan oncontinuing that! I recommend Slab for when you are craving something filling. Read more

Super friendly service and great selection. I'm vegetarian and found several options that would work for me on this menu, which... is unusual at this price point. Store is quite small, but is wheelchair accessible. Not a lot of tables, so if you come at abisy time be prepared to eat your delicious food elsewhere. I will be honest with a reader in this review. I can't keep this secret any longer... Slab Burger is going to hold... responsibility for my baby! I am a big fan of the slabburger. Yes, I did eat my meal with it and yes, it was quite tasty, aswell as a good source of protein, which is what I was looking for in a burger - just not too much meat on it (as my wife callsme). I love that there are different kinds of slabs available, from the traditional beef to turkey, chicken and veggie optionsthat taste great! And you have your choice of two bun flavors: regular or gluten-free (which is always a plus when trying newfoods!). It was alright. Got the bacon memphis which had good flavour but I found the burger a bit dry. Also tried the poutine which... again was just ok. It's also kind of pricey in my opinion. I think if you're in the area then sure go for it, but wouldn't beworth a dedicated trip there. Read more

Ordered takeout here and would again! Wings were crispy and well seasoned, the pizza and poutine were also great.

Your local greasy spot for those cravin? nights. The burgers are great and toppings are free! The poutine is probably one of the... best in the neighborhood since Holy Chuck closed (they offer veg gravy as well). Will definitely be back to try their pizzas. Read more
