Reviews for Sizzler Kabab in Toronto, ON
I had butter naan and chana masala. The taste was awesome. Price is very affordable for any dish. Will visit here again. But... here is my story. I was heading towards Juicy Dumplings as I know the only place to get my veggie options in that area. I sawthe restaurant, stopped and thought about should I go in or not. I decided to go inside and it was a nice decision. The interioris quite good there. It feels like you are in some good restaurant like in India and Pakistan. They have the only one staffmember at the front who is responsible for taking orders and serve as well. They should hire 1 or 2 more staff members. Read more
After years of walking right past this store, finally decided to actually stop and eat in. Boy, am I glad I did! It was quite... busy, so we had to wait a bit for a table, but the reward was the tastiest meal I?ve ever had! The rice was sumptuous, and themeat was perfectly seasoned and broiled. The naan was made from scratch and it looked and tasted wonderful! The thing thatimpressed me most was that there was only one server, and even tho? the place was very busy, she kept her cool throughout theevening! As well, I think there wasn?t only one chef who came out periodically to serve something freshly made. A visit to thewashroom led to a surprise. There was a bidet! How?s cool is that?? Anyway, this won?t be the last time we will visit thisplace. The price is just right, and the food is delicious! 5 stars! Read more
I liked their food. Butter chicken was a little spicy but Karahi Gosht was great. The portion is big; it is really affordable... and the combo with soft drink, stew and Naan/rice is less than 12$. I highly recommend it and definitely will return here.Samosa was 1.25$! Unbelievable! My only concern is the cleanliness of the environment. I am not sure why I didn't get the goodvibe about it. So totally found this place by accident but it looks like it was a good choice. They?ve got quite a large menu and variety of... options. Great spot for a late night meal. We went in around 3:30 am where we still got quality service and good food. The Bonusis that you get all this at decent prices and some nice wall art to look at. Read more
The naan and kababs are always fresh and always hit the spot. If you show up too early they?ll tell you the ovens are still... firing up. Just proof to their dedication so that the food is prepared hot and sizzling while you wait, marinated well and not asecond worth of wait is disappointing. The spice level can be a bit intimidating for first timers but the fallout is just right. The ambience is fun, with Pakistani style murals and poetry on the walls, and everything from folksy or popish Bhangra blastingthe air. Definitely come by here for a quick lunch or evening pit stop or take out. Read more
