Okay. I have to give credit where credit is due... on top of the amazing amazing food we had at Shinyi (pics), the atmosphere... was very zen, calming and relaxed . Credit is due to the employees working on Sept 3rd. After dinne, we were on our way toNathan Sq. maybe about 5 blocks walk, I noticed phone missing as I went looking to take a pic... as panic sets in I retraced andran back, was the longest most panicked run I've ever done. Got to the restaurant and discovered the hostess and ladies kept myphone in a locked cabinet behind the register and was waiting for me to return for it. I was so impressed by this... they couldhave kept it and lied about seeing it (which has happened in my lifetime) but the genuine honesty left me in tears. The food was amazing. I love the interior design. I never had general tso as crunchy as theirs. The best fresh noodles I’ve... had. I couldn’t stop eating it. The reason I gave three is because the waitress was not very attentive. Also I wanted toorder dumplings but they were too expensive. I think it’s because the dumplings were handmade. Beautiful decor and spacious seating. Great place for a cosy meal. Delicious dumplings. Happy they had one option for vegan... dumplings. They serve a few vegetarian vegan dishes too. The Mopu tofu was incredible! Onion pancakes delicious and I can’twait to try out some other food. They make some interesting veg stir fries. Refreshing ice teas and portion sizes aregenerous. Fantastic service Whole package is a memorial experience. My daughter went back the next day to dine in again with herfriends. It was so good ! Amazing work SHINYI ???????? I can't speak to the inside of the restaurant, have no idea what it looks like as I ordered through skip. The only reason for 4... stars is cause I found it a bit pricey, but as far as the taste goes it's friggin delicious. I got both pan fried and steameddumplings, the pan fried are huge 2 bites for sure, the steamed are good for 1 bite. I ordered way too many dumplings so I hopethey survive the microwave tomorrow for lunch. If they don't survive the microwave I may have to order it again ???? The place was very clean and bright, since they are quite new. We were ten but they could accommodated us. The order system was... easy through our phone. I ordered red braised pork belly and ribs, which was so delicious. It was well seasoned and tender. Youmust try it. For anybody who don't eat dumplings, I cannot eat dumplings but they still have so many kinds of dishes, so noworries! Read more

I know they are called dumpling house but only the real ones know that these local Chinese stir-fries are the hidden gems on... their menu! Service- great! Food- we finished EVERYTHING. The spice-muah/chef’s kiss. Thankfully it was very spicy like werequested. The beef was juicy, tender, and soooo flavoured. The “double crunch” featuring lotus roots and another crunchyvegetable was done so well, light yet fully indulged in all the spices. And the eggplant was cooked perfectly, between firm andsoft, each piece soaked up all the juices and seasoning in the dish.
