EDIT: I did go back and return the cake. They gave me my money back willingly with no hassle so I will add a star back but I do... hope they took my concerns seriously and investigate their refrigeration system. I had no intention of leaving a review as theplace seemed nice enough....but I received a food item so spoiled, I feel like I need to write this to potentially keep peoplesafe. I never thought cake spoiled. Honestly, I just thought it went stale but yesterday I bought a slice of tuxedo cake andwhen I went to eat it last night the taste was so pungent I've never tasted a spoiled dessert like that in my like. Every partof it was off. The cake, icing, everything. Its smelled so foul as well.I was gaging by my attempted 2nd bite. I dunno if it'sold or where they are storing it but it was one of the most disgusting things I've ever had in my mouth. I will have to take itback tomorrow cause I'm legit concerned for their method of storage at this place. I hope the owners see this and take itseriously. That is not normal and I am 100% certain it would have made me very Ill if I ate it. Read more

Ordered two mochas to go and specified half sweet. Barista understood but seemed to have immediately forgotten after a few... minutes delay serving someone else. Mochas came out extremely sweet and I didn?t realize until I was already driving away. Itwasn?t busy at the shop so I?m disappointed by this avoidable error. Please be more mindful next time. The Forest Hill franchise always has friendly staff and good products. I commend them for keeping their washrooms open to their... customers unlike the Starbucks across the street. For that alone, they deserve support from their neighbourhood. Read more
