Scaramouche is such a special place. It?s an elegant dining experience, where every detail is attended to. Everything we ordered... was delicious and the service was exceptional. We reserved for an early dinner, didn't realize it was underneath a building, was a bit confused when we arrived. There is a... valet person out to guide you! They provided complimentary valet, which was great not having to look for parking. We were seatedimmediately and the view was beautiful. Food was great with large wine choices as well. High quality food. Everything was done really well. However nothing knocked my socks off in a way that I would tell my friends... to go check it out. We had the scallops, lobster and seafood risotto, burrata appetizer, romaine lettuce, and tuna tartare.Sides of fries. I will say that the service is amazing. So kind, accommodating, and friendly. We were seated in an area wedidn't like and asked to be moved and I fully expected some confrontation, but they were very nice about it and got us a muchnicer table. Simply outstanding!!! Felt special on numerous occasions throughout the evening. Started with valet parking. Brought my own high... end Cab that was decanted. PEI oysters were some of the best I ever had. Grilled octopus was delightful. Duck with braisedcabbage was a perfect medium rare. Portion sizes were just right. With the famed coconut Cream pie, made me full. We had the following Bread and Hummus for Two,... Oysters, Peppercorn Fettuccine, Halibut and Coconut Cream Pie. Wow! Took my husband here for his birthday. He is a Red Seal Chef and was impressed with the food and ambiance. We had great... service and really enjoyed our meals. LOVED the peppercorn fettuccine, tuna tartar, shrimp and lobster salad, and lobsterrisotto. It was all fabulous! Read more
