Delicious ramen. After coming from New York we were craving some decent but affordable food, and sansotei ramen did not... disappoint. This is a chain store, but I can say this branch is clean, with good service from the waiters and waitress. I wouldnot hesitate to come back. Read more

You get a choice of thick or thin noodles for your flavourful ramen bowl. The food was delicious and served quickly to our... table. We were the first in line, showing up 15 minutes before doors opened which allowed us to have the one private booth atthe back of the restaurant. I would say within 10 minutes, the restaurant was full and there was a line outdoors. Get thereearly. Read more

Such a great bowl of noodles! The tonkotsu ramen was homey and warm. Delicious pork belly and toppings. Marinated egg was great!... Even the side dishes, like the gyoza pork dumplings and corn fritters were good! Nothing out of the ordinary though! Just bewareof their lack of vegetarian options! Only one meal on the menu is vegetarian and it?s also a spicy dish, so the options arereally limited. Despite that, the service was great, and super considerate. Read more

Quiet when I entered. Staff were quick to take my order. The wings are some of the best I have eaten in a while! Ramen was good,... not great. The chashu could have been better and $1.50 to have bamboo shoots added is steep - but does not come with it bydefault. Egg was more cooked than it should be. Read more

Sansotei anchors the heart of Little Tokyo. It?d been years since my last visit to Sansotei Ramen in downtown Toronto. Back... then, the small restaurant was packed and I was impressed by the rich ramen broth along with the edible flower placed on MisoBlack Ramen. This time, it was less busy though this shop has exploded to many locations. I tried their limited time Tonkotsu+offering. Staff swiftly brought forth a bowl, consisting of chashu, pastrami, small shiitake, meatballs, daikon & truffle oil ona smooth rich pork broth. A bit of everything. Thin ramen noodles did well to pickup the salty broth flavours accentuated by thetoppings. Interesting though not on-par with more traditional ramen options on the menu. When it opened a decade ago, Sansoteiwas among those that led the ramen craze. It?s little changed in its crammed quarters, with limited seating for perhaps 6-7tables. The smell from downstairs wasn?t pleasant. A nautical rope hung overhead for perhaps a Hokkaido theme. Read more

Really good food, mainly Ramen of course. But the side dishes (Corn croquettes and Fried Chicken) were excellent as well. The... service was excellent. The place was clean, not crowded, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended! Read more

I had Tonkatsu black with thin noodle, and it was amazing! The broth and garlic oil was very tasty, and the noodle was cooked to... the perfection. The chashu was very good, a lot more flavorful than other ramen restaurants I tried before. I wonder if theyglazed or grilled it. Haven?t had good ramen like this since I moved to the Midwest (St. Louis, MO and Kansas). Glad to be inthe city again and really appreciate the good food and great service! Read more

Great little ramen spot. Fast service, nice servers. Seems to be small on capacity so beware of waits and lines but the ramen... was reasonably priced and very flavourful! Tried the Tonkatsu+ which had truffle oil that was unique. The Tonkatsu black tastedtoo good as well! For desert - get the cheesecakes; they taste nice and not too sweet. Read more
