It was my first time trying Ethiopian food and I had the most wonderful experience at Rendez-Vous. We got the two meat and two... veggies platter which you can see looks like a feast! Our group really enjoyed the food and the flavours were so wonderful. Therestaurant had a great ambiance too, complete with beautiful background music and great service. We also got the Ethiopiancoffee and watched the coffee ceremony. Our server roasted the coffee beans on a pan next to us and the aroma filled up theentire space. The coffee itself was very delicious. Friday, September 16, 2022 Tonight we were a party of 5, three of whom had never tried Ethiopian food before. They loved it. We... all loved it. Not only was it delicious, it was also presented so beautifully! And the roasting of the coffee beans right atthe table after the meal was the perfect way to end our visit. Good ambience with smooth jazz lightly playing in thebackground, there was nary a seat to be had when we left around 9:20pm. Wonderful staff! It was our first time eating Ethiopian food and I can say that i was a good experience. The staff were amazing and the food was... soo good! The app that we got was injera with chickpeas and i will get it again! It was our first time trying authentic Ethiopian food and it was amazing! We love the way the meat in the Combination were... served, which is also one of their popular dishes. The GoredGored was good, but probably a bit too raw and salty for us. Wewould like to try the raw meat again but with other type of sauce, if they have. Overall, this was one of the best experiences that I had in a long time. The food was cooked to perfection and I really enjoyed... it. This was a little bit different to my particular taste so as the meal went on I liked it more! Injera has an acquired tasteso if it’s your first time, it will take time for you to get use to!
