Great place to come by in the Yorkville area, hard to beat the price that this restaurant offers. Cheap dinner plates and a good... roti option special for lunch. Staff is also very friendly! Read more

The food was so amazing! The goat was seasoned perfectly and the roti was so soft and tasty. Made me feel like I was back in... Jamaica. I also caught the lunch special, so the price was perfect! Read more

A nice, little Caribbean restaurant close to Yonge and Bloor, in front of Reference Library. The doubles are made with channa... (chickpeas) and a little bit of hot sauce and the roti's come with a choice of chicken, beef or goat and the good old coleslaw! What really surprised me how inexpensive the food is. Two doubles for $5 and roti lunch special for $8! They also offer anumber of other goodies in their menu including bake and shark, aloo pie, pholourie, poutine. The sauces are also unique andprobably homemade. I loved the tamarind and medium spicy sauce. The restaurant is small but leans and the food is delicious!chicken, potato & chickpea roti! Read more

Randy's roti bad review I only go to Randy's roti when I am desperate for some Trini food, but this will be the last time. I... ordered the goat roti special and an aloo pie. Not only was the wrong roti made the first time (chicken instead of goat), itwasn't filled up very much and the method of packing was rather sloppy. The roti itself (wrap) didn't have any taste to it, andseemed like it was only made out of flour and water, not much else if anything. I couldn't tell you what style of roti it was, definitely not buss up shut or dhal puri. The goat didn't taste like it was seared and the curry didn't seep in to the meat, leaving little flavour. Doesn't feel worth the cost, even at the lunch price. Because of the thickness of the roti and lack ofstuffing, there was a lot of bites that were just roti and not much else. I've had rotis that had such good flavour, it makes itworth powering through if it's too spicy, and if it's not spicy it is still delicious. I did not feel this way about the foodhere. As for the aloo pie, I don't know why when my Trini partner orders it they put Chana, tamarind sauce and some greens init, but when I order the pie there is nothing done to it, just a plain potato and flour pie, they don't even cut it open.  Isaid I didn't want hot sauce and to put it on the side so maybe they thought I didn't want ANYTHING spicy, but why no chick peasor other ingredients? There was clearly miscommunication but I had said "do everything the same, but put hot sauce on the side"and asked several times about the Chana and how the aloo pie is made. Talking to the staff was difficult, and being a shortperson, the takeout containers piled up make it so I cannot make eye contact easily with the staff while they prepare thefood. The polhourie would be a nice treat, but the quantity you have to buy, and at that price doesn't make sense to me. I amalways wishing there was a smaller portion option. We stopped getting the doubles, the price only makes Read more

Jerk chicken was dry and bland. Rice and coleslaw were both unseasoned. The jerk chicken has an option for spicy, unfortunately... the spices were nowhere to be found though the meal costs $14. Staff at the counter was very rude as well. Judging from thereviews, you can tell the owner just doesn?t care. Definitely the WORST Caribbean restaurant in downtown. Read more

Tried Randy's for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised! The roti was a nice size for lunch and the contents (chicken,... potato, chick peas) were plentiful and came with the perfect amount of gravy. Will definitely stop by for lunch again! Read more
